Jesus went to a wedding blow-out, and made more than 900 bottles of wine when the hooch ran out.

GOP,

I remember very well the last time you preached this very same sermon (almost exactly one year ago, on Dec. 25, 2015):

http://christianchat.com/christian-singles-forum/128526-dona-t-take-your-jesus-night-club.html

May I ask, what makes you preach at others 24/7 and never tell us about yourself or start a discussion?

Is it cultural? Is this what Christians do in your church? All preaching and never sharing anything about themselves?

I'm actually very curious as to why so many come to a discussion board, but never want an actual discussion.

I guess it's to turn the readers into one's own personal congregation... ?

Peace be with you Sir in JESUS' NAME.
Yes, our LORD went to a wedding but a wedding place is quite different from a night club. Tell me, what activities in a night club glorify GOD our FATHER ? Our lives is to glorify GOD and HIM alone.
Thanks and have a lovely day Sir in JESUS' NAME.

Peace be with you Madam in JESUS' NAME.
Good morning.
Merry Christmas to you and your entire family in JESUS' NAME.
Wow! Glory to GOD! I thank the HOLY SPIRIT for remind you about this message. You are right. It's almost a year today.
Now come to your other questions.
I'm not move by what people say or think about me. I'm only move by the WORD OF GOD and what GOD Thinks about me.
As Christians, we are led by the HOLY SPIRIT and not what people say or think.
If you want to know about me, asked and as the LORD Will, I respond to you.
It's all about JESUS CHRIST our LORD and not about me nor you. It's about JESUS.

Thanks and have a lovely day in JESUS' NAME.

More than 900 bottles of wine ????? And the master of the banquet was bragging about the great 'quality' of the booze !!!! I'm sure they were all just sitting around reading Scripture to one another.

True, but i am willing to go into shady places most people wont go so i can share the gospel and change peoples hearts... I see what you are saying though, we are not supposed to conform to the world.

AAHHhhhh I think its fine. Jesus is with us no matter where we are.... People enjoy to dance and God has given us the world for us to enjoy it. When it starts taking and consuming and idolizing above that of Christ then yes but if not then go ahead. Up to you

Dont make rules that the bible doesnt make. Your on a one way ticket to qualifying yourself as a pharisee in doing that.

Peace be with you bro in JESUS' NAME.
Where did our LORD turned water into wine? Was it in a night club?

I should, then turn all the alcohol back to water.

This right here.

I've actually been wondering about this for some time now, especially that last line about someone who needs a congregation. GOP you seem to only preach at us. You never talk to us. I can't think of a single fact I know about you - favorite food, hobbies, sports, we don't know ANYTHING about you except that you like to preach at us. A lot.

His preaching style doesn't bother me, he seems to plant seeds and reminders on the forums, rather than trying to be social...It's actually good that he does this because some people just graze over the threads and need to see the message...what may seem preachy and redundant to some may not be for the next person who comes though to see his posts... as for facts about him.. did anyone volunteer to ask?

As you can see, yes.

We've tried to engage GOP in conversations throughout his many threads for the entire time he's been here, but as you say, apparently his goal is to make a statement or reminder, and nothing else.

Which is fine.

I just like to get to know the people is all.

Clubs are for music and dancing. You can find sex and drugs anywhere in the world, not just in dance culture. Men are known to go to clubs looking for drugs or sex, but in my experience if thats what they are there for then they are not as likely to find it. If you are going there for the music and the dance then the drugs and sex should not tempt you but become just an annoyance. If you are tempted by just being around drugs or other people then you should stay home.
