:p My car? Does this mean you are buying me a car? :p
Certainly looks it from where I stand. Hold him to it! Backing out of an offer is unacceptable. "Let your yea be yea...." and all that.

I have so many candles I could start my own candle emporium. I do use some of them once and a while. I got one this year from Yankee Candle called Cherries on snow, that's my favorite so I'll use it.

Let me try to remember all my Candle scents that I have.

Pepermint bark

Vanilla cupcake

Merry Marshmallows

Probably a dozen pine scented candles.

Many candles that supposedly smell like a tropical breeze. I'm grateful they don't smell like a Lake Erie breeze.

Oh I also have enough scarves to dress a whole cast of a broadway show! I don't wear scarves, they get in the way and I feel like a clown. I have two very light weight scarves that I might wear on occasion.

If if you ever need a mug you should come to my super mug emporium. I have big mugs, small mugs, soup mugs, colorful mugs and bland mugs.

I have donated many items and I hope someone uses them and I do appreciate that someone was thoughtful enough to buy me a gift.

3 questions....
1. If you live in the south are you allowed to use "yankee candles"?!

2. I never knew that peppermints could bark....may need a muzzle for that one...

3. How is a marshmellow merry? when said marshmallow is usually roasted over crackling flames? this thread is full of humor if you know where to look :p

Hey, man, my family had one of those!!! Imagine it parked at the golf club next to all the BMW's and Mercedes. Yup, that was us. Way to make fun of my generation's version of the mini-van. :(:p

I also spent many afternoons of my childhood scrubbing the white walls on those tires with a steel wool SOS pad.

Ult!!!

To the timeout box, now!

I actually don't think that I've ever received a gift that I didn't like. If I did, I would just pretend to like it; I'm not gonna make anyone feel bad or like I don't appreciate the effort. I would still keep it... I wouldn't re-gift or anything. Although this Christmas, I stole one of my brother's games like a week ago and gifted it to one of my other brothers. That went well. XD

I'm appreciative of the gift, even if I don't think I'll use it. I am a re-gifter sometimes though.

Once I was given some sort of assortment of hot cocoa packets. I put the packets in Christmas mugs that I got from a thrift store, along with some Hershey's kisses to further fill up the mug, then re-gifted them to all my piano students.

I think I spent more on the froo-froo cellophane wrap and ribbons than on the actual mugs and chocolates!

I also have a Looney Tunes tie that I have never found a place to ditch. Maybe I should sell it on ebay. I love Bugs Bunny but the tie is just too, too garish.

And I have somehow accumulated a collection of knives with cheap, easily dulled blades that I never bought. I'm a nerd, why do I need 40,000 pocket knives? And when they get dull so easily, who has ever heard of a nerd sharpening a knife blade? We have better things to do, like splicing two controllers together so we don't have to swap one out for the other all the time. Who is making all these knives with cheap metal anyway? There should be a law that you are only allowed to use surgical stainless steel or something better in knife blades.

No joke, I have left a cheap pocket knife at work in a high traffic area where good tools vanish all the time. It sat there for a SOLID MONTH and nobody picked it up. I finally threw it away. Even thieves saw at a glance how worthless it was.
If you have enough of those ties the garish ones and you know someone who sews have them sew them together for you and make a quilted throw out of it alternate fat and skinny ends of ties and quilt them....then you'd have a real show stopper....lol

Look at this jewel of a station wagon - my dad had a push button turquoise Rambler station wagon... He would come out and I would have pushed all the buttons and wasn't too happy with me as I pretended to drive the family wagon.....

Sorry the thread is about gifts.... I'm a big re-gifter or it goes in a yard sale or if someone else needed it, wanted it - it gets passed along.....I thank people for their gifts and make mental note not to return it to them....lol
