those who love Jesus never un-kindly or un-lovingly whisper behind another's back
nor criticizes or gossips like a blind-folded billy-goat out of self-justification.
it takes a 'true-awakening' to 'over-come' such deep-seeded hateful roots cursed upon us -
we must receive His Holy Way that takes us away from such hateful ways...

You know as a Christian it's not proper to lie or embellish. Based on the posts I've read by you, you have neither, and a severe lack a Biblical knowledge. Most of the posts I read from you contain no biblical knowledge whatsoever just a lot of vitriol and derogatory comments.

it would seem that you speak in a very un-informed way, not to mention a very 'unkind' way...

Lynn is an attribute and a blessing to many of us here at CC...even if some don't always GET her,
or AGREE with her, we so appreciate and Love her for her input and knowledge, and un-self-conscience
ways that she has as a result of her experiences in her life with and without her Saviour...
another words, 'before and after'...

upon conversion, Christ gives and blesses each of us with Spiritual manners and tolerance,
especially when we don't quite understand another perspective because of their life's experiences
and cross-roads...but I know this, eventually, if we truly Love, Honor, Obey our Master, He will bring
us all into the Unity of His precious Faith and Glorious Future...

Samuel: You ignore clear sound exegesis in favour of your interpretation. You ignore repeated attempts to encourage you to read the provided exegesis. Your lack of homework is astounding. In light of this, your warnings of judgment are laughable.

Just one more point. I read where people have said the proof is in the pudding, if a woman Pastor saw a move of God then that is proof that God approves of what she is doing...absolutely false! The proof of whether or not something is of God is determined by in context scripture. I have personally known of three individuals that prayed the sinners prayer with people who got saved and the three individuals were not even saved their selves, they just repeated what the word of God said. There were two women in the past that had huge ministries and it is safe to believe that people were saved at times under their preaching, however both of these women were very messed up in life and had very strange deaths.

I read the dribble...do you think I cannot see through that kind of nonsense. You cannot change clear in context teaching from the word of God, however you can pretend to change it.

If the fruit of their ministry is irrelevant, then so is the manner of their deaths.

You call careful exegesis of the Greek "dribble"? Interesting, considering we would have no Bible in English at all were it not for exegetes and translators. It's sad that some were biased against women. It's also sad that people who claim Jesus as Saviour continue in this bias, with nothing but an English translation to support them.

If you don't agree with the exegesis, fine, you're welcome to your opinion. However, it is silly to continue quoting English translations which have been shown erroneous. Even if those who favour women in ministry are wrong, it is not a salvation issue, so please back off the rhetoric of condemnation.

The Word of God says you must believe in your heart, so you are not taking the full counsel of Scripture into consideration with your pointless little story, just as you refuse to put in context the Scriptures under discussion. You think that throwing your uninformed opinion around is all it takes to convince people while I and others here have shared many Scriptures in their proper context weighed against many other Scriptures to come to the truth of the matter, which you find fault with, and then threaten us with more of your out-of-context improperly exegeted dribble.

This whole debate is about the rights of men to have decent food!


If women are off trying to be pastors, then men have to cook for themselves!

Men cook such horrible slop they can't even LOOK at it!

Men just want decent food!

Men demand their right to decent food!

Men don't care what women want to do, they just care about their FOOD!

So STOP ALL THIS MADNESS!!!!

MEN NEED TO EAT!

Well then I guess your perception is wrong. She's been nothing but condescending and arrogant towards me since I've come Into this forum and so I do not see the person that you laud. Just because I am new on this forum does not mean I am new to this experience or to people. as one can only do in a setting such as this I judge a person by their words and her words have not been kind and not just towards me but the word many. I have never really cared much about who a person was before they received because it's far as I'm concerned they belong to the devil I have no interest in anything of the devil. I use the spirit of discernment and it has served me quite well in the 45 years that I have been a Christian.

TV dinners are nowhere found in New Testament scripture or in the writings of the early church fathers.

They are clearly the work of satan.

why can't women think like this anymore:(

Womens place is in the home or more accurately barefoot in the kitchen. If we make men eat their own cooking many would go extinct, that would be a bummer
