So do you still sin from time to time?

Do you still give in to the flesh in some sort from time to time?

Just be honest with us here. Be truthful. Thank you.

1 (one) verse and statement of Jesus totally destroys this I don't sin and am good fallacy.....

Jesus was on the earth and was teaching SAVED, IMMERSED believers who had given evidence of repentance (John the Baptist' ministry and the ones Jesus called out)

They called Jesus good and he said...Why callest thou me good, there are NONE GOOD, BUT GOD......

SO.........to say one don't sin or is above sin is to say that they are good.....Jesus and his word makes all of them all liars..........!

What about the abuse of Gods Grace? Such a thing?

There is. This freedom stuff is risky business. But, apparently God thinks its worth the risk.

Truth! God is willing to take the risk - Grace TEACHES us. Patiently. Lovingly. Firmly grounding us in what is true about Christ, His Work, what that accomplished, and who we are in Him \o/! When we fall, grace does not condemn, but pulls us back up to our feet and exhorts, encourages, teaches, and says, "You can do it! You are a NEW CREATION!"

Yes, the Spirit also purifies the heart bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.

Correction, it's not the Spirits job, it's our job.

We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,
2 Corinthians 10:5

We must remember as great and true the Grace message is----it must be balanced with other scriptures in the Bible----any scripture taken to an extreme can become unbalanced----example---the Word even says we are to hate our father, mother, and children (Luke 14:26)----but other scriptures tell us to honor our father and mother----we cannot take God's Word out of its balanced place in teaching and life style...Grace and Peace

So . . . let me get this straight . . .

You want to balance Grace, which teaches us to say no to ungodliness and live upright lives, with Law, which was given to increase sinning and is the power of sin? (Tit. 2, Rom. 5, 1 Cor. 15)

Seems counterproductive.

He totally refutes the assertions of the OP. And instead of addressing what is said, you choose to mock.

I'm sure no one notices, though.

Carry on.

-JGIG
Thank you for your permission to carry on..... but I don't know if you're talking about the military version, or goofing around.

I'm choosing the second one..... so, I noticed you DIDN'T say Prince WASN'T your favorite peecha-boy! Hilarious!

Don't cry about it, you told me I could carry on.:p

I haven't met you yet 88. Hello.
This is a very true statement. There are ditches on both sides of a road.
It distresses me to see people pick opposing ditches and hunkering down for a fight.
So may verses are ever at tension with one another.

Riding in the middle of the road is not a good plan.

Another Biblical metaphor calls it being lukewarm.

The point is it does not matter what you or others think of me, again.... "What I am and what you are DO NOT MAKE THE WORDS OF GOD ANY LESS TRUE."
We are saved by grace; you are a sinner who calls God a liar by stating you do not sin. Yep, God's Word is in tact.

2 Corinthians 10:5

We cannot renew our own minds that's what the Spirit does, notice the previous verse says the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, which means they are spiritual as we are empowered by God= "mighty through God"...

2 Corinthians 10:4-5

[SUP]4 [/SUP](For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds)

[SUP]5 [/SUP]Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

You guys just want to find fault in me and accuse me, as if this makes the words of God any less true. Don't believe if you wish, and accuse me all you want because your judgment of me does not matter, there is one who judges me, believe His words. :)
Your sins do not nullify God's Word. Trust me.

No thanks, I'm too busy thinking about Jesus and being wonderfully content with a God who does not deal with me as my sins deserve. Thank you Jesus!
Amen to this. ISIT simply can not grasp the magnitude of God's love and saving grace we have in Jesus Christ, and therefore calls God a liar.
