Nope, we are also set free from sin and sinning (or should be if you are truly born again of God).

1 John 3:5-10

[SUP]5 [/SUP]And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

[SUP]6 [/SUP]Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

[SUP]7 [/SUP]Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

[SUP]8 [/SUP]He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

[SUP]9 [/SUP]Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

[SUP]10 [/SUP]In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother."

So do you still sin from time to time?

Do you still give in to the flesh in some sort from time to time?

Just be honest with us here. Be truthful. Thank you.

But, you don't really believe that. You believe it is you who saves yourself from sinning and ongoing sins.
How ridiculous. I did not give birth to myself, I did not set myself free from sin. Jesus Christ did, He is my righteousness. If you put on Jesus Christ are you putting on a sinner? Think about it. :)

All we would need to do is ask his wife the same question about him.

You guys just want to find fault in me and accuse me, as if this makes the words of God any less true. Don't believe if you wish, and accuse me all you want because your judgment of me does not matter, there is one who judges me, believe His words. :)

These are very simple questions. Why can't you be truthful with us?

He just lives to condemn others. Tell lies about what others believe and live. But refuses to acknowledge his own sin.
Pathetic. Just pathetic.

No thanks, I'm too busy thinking about Jesus and being wonderfully content with a God who does not deal with me as my sins deserve. Thank you Jesus!

Many of us have tried numerous times to get him to be truthful with us and answer the question of whether he still sins from time to time and he refuses to answer.

It's hard to have any kind of a discussion about what he writes about in his "personal application" of some scriptures because he refuses to be honest with us.

When no truthfulness is being done - then it's useless to try to discuss anything with this sort of a mindset. Maybe it is just best to ignore his posts and to not interact with him.

Being deceitful is not an atmosphere to have healthy discussions in and is just a waste of time and brings strife and division and after repeatedly there is no repentance being shown - it's time to avoid this type of behavior just like Paul says in Romans 16:17

Romans 16:17 (KJV)
[SUP]17 [/SUP] Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

Thou art refuted. And by Joseph Prince, no less! Apologies if someone else has already posted this. I came across it quite by 'chance' today while doing other things and remembered your OP :

[video=youtube;I-DcZA8NO44]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-DcZA8NO44&t=380s[/video]

Oh please spare us, JP has already been exposed as being a phony over and over again in these forums. Also this HG preacher video is against the forum rules. :)
It's your opinion (and some others who disagree with him) that JP has been 'exposed'. No matter. I'm confident in the simple truths of the Gospel that Prince preaches and I see where those truths are bringing peace, freedom, and rest to many, many believers.

As for the video being against forum rules, um, no. The Forum Rules state no such thing.

Moderators did warn, however, that threads designed to attack either side regarding the topic of hyper grace and those who teach it are prohibited from the forum:

Admin and the moderators will no longer allow this to continue . And appropriate action will be taken if a member or guest starts a topic on "hyper grace " or Preachers who teach it. remember those who attack each other many of them call themselves christians yet we eat and devour each other. enough is enough. (source)

And InSpiritInTruth, here's the thing: YOU actually violated the spirit of the moderators' instruction by titling this thread, "The easy way to spot a false grace message". You've simply re-labeled 'hyper-grace' as 'false grace' as an end-around to the mods' exhortation. I'm sure no one noticed, though .

The assertion of your OP is demonstrably untrue. I gave an example of a 'false grace' teacher, in your view, who showed the assertions in your OP to be untrue.

You have again sown seeds of discord and division in this body. The very thing the mods were exhorting all of us to NOT do.

Honestly!!! How many times do people have to keep on saying " Show me a person posting here, who says this."?

It is absolutely ignorant and asinine to go off somewhere, searching and searching till you eventually locate someone who says something you disagree with.... and then come running back here, dancing and squealing, that because you found this obscure thing off somewhere, that...........
"Ah-Ha!!! THIS man off in Timbucktoo says he believes in grace........ and YOU say you believe in grace, therefore, anything I can Copy/Paste from his website (Whoever 'he' might be) has to be what you believe also.... even if you keep telling me, over, and over, and over, and over, and over again, you don't believe that."

the crux of the REAL problem...^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Ulwaezs nu he wuz yer faev-rite peecha-boy.:p
He totally refutes the assertions of the OP. And instead of addressing what is said, you choose to mock.

I'm sure no one notices, though.

Carry on.

This is just a pack mentality. I praise the Lord you walk worthy of your Lord Jesus Christ.
Shame on those who mock and ridicule walking in righteousness, these are the enemies
of Christ.

Great honour is due to you for persecution for righteousness. Sad is the day when
walking and exalting right behaviour is deemed evil.

You and your buddy ISIT need to look at Luke 18:10-14 and take a serious look at yourself and your relationship with God.

They're too busy praying within themselves and thanking god they aren't like others...

Being deceitful and dishonest is NOT "walking in righteousness".

Titus 2:11-12 (NASB)
[SUP]11 [/SUP] For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men,

[SUP]12 [/SUP] instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age,

Only God can judge the hearts of men but Paul describes "deceitfulness" and they masquerade as "preachers of righteousness".

2 Corinthians 11:13-15 (NASB)
[SUP]13 [/SUP] For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.

Satan and his horde do not come to the believer in Christ and say "Sin all you want" because no one would for fall for such a lie.

Instead they come
as "ministers of righteousness".

They want us to live by our own D.I.Y. self-righteousness/holiness so that we will be not be depending on what Christ has done for us by grace through faith alone for salvation.

This cuts us off from receiving the grace of God in our lives.

2 Corinthians 11:13-15 (KJV)
[SUP]13 [/SUP] For such are false apostles,
deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.

[SUP]14 [/SUP] And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

[SUP]15 [/SUP] Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as
the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. ( notice that is "their" works )

This below is what satan is really after...this is why he has false teachers in our midst. He wants us to fall away from grace and depend on our own performance.

1 Peter 1:13
[SUP]13 [/SUP] Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace being brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
