The same thing that every dog eats........................

Kitty Krunchies
Translation: Cat turds.

I am reminded of a comic strip called Dude & Dude, where the comic's dog ate a string of christmas-decoration popcorn.
CAT: "Are you crazy? How can you eat that stuff? They sprayed it with hair spray to keep it from decomposing."

DOG: "Dude, really? I survive on the junk these guys feed me, plus the occasional litter box. A splash of VO5 doesn't even register."

I don't even know what it means. Should I look it up? I shall refrain haha. I have heard it before. It did not entice me enough to want to know what it meant, though :D It does sound vaguely disrespectful somehow...
The definition isn't bad. It's basically when someone brings Jesus into a conversation out of no where and it happens to make them look super holy and the other person not so holy. The name is what really gets to me. This article is a better explanation...it also explains where the term "juke" comes from. :)

My thoughts...: the 'Jesus-Juke'

Okay, how about Religion-Juke? Then it could apply to muslims, buddhists, hindus and everybody. I'm certain they religion-juke conversations too.

Hmmm...Jesus juke. I had to read that blog entry just to get an idea what the term meant. Its a totally new term to me. Totally. So I'm slowly getting my head round the idea. I remember walking home with a lady I had grown up with. We met by chance in the business district and decided to walk home together. This was like 25 years ago. I had just picked up the latest copy of Newsweek which carried a cover article on the big question of alien life in the universe. I think the cover said "Is there life out there?" or something similar. She was a devout Jehovah's Witness so after some small talk she looked at the cover and said, "Hmm. Life in the universe."
I think I answered that I hadn't read it yet as i had just picked up the copy.

She then said, "I know someone who came from space, Jesus."

To be honest I was annoyed. I think my look said it all "Seriously? This is your opening? Your 'pawn to king 4?'"

Don't get me wrong I was a Christian back then, but I didn't feel like getting into a heated debate that day (I knew this girl well - we were friends). So I the look I gave her parked that conversation there and then.

Do you have any pix of your dog? Jennifer, isn't your dog Sophie also an Aussie? My daughter's dog is a mini tri red Aussie. She has personality to spare :D I won't tell you what she likes to eat out of the kitty litter box

This is a recent photo of her. She is about 18 pounds, a year and a half old :)

Sophie is a Border Collie mix, she hates water. I bought her one of those plastic pools last summer she uses it as a water bowl.

Well, if you must know, I had just slept for 6+ hours. I know...it seems unlikely this woman you've known for almost a year now would go to bed at 7:30-8pm but I assure you it happened. I was up the rest of the night and am currently savoring the most delicious coffee I've had in months. Wait, second most.

Is it? or is it a video made by people who feel their "freedom of speech" includes the right to racism and sexual oriented remarks?

Freedom of speech does include those things. All of us have the right to believe anything and express those beliefs even if we are wrong. The moment we tell someone they can't say something because it's deemed wrong is the moment the freedom to speak about what is right is endangered. What if society degrades to the point where child pornography is deemed "ok" by the masses and it's "wrong" to speak out against it?

The civil rights movement in America was born on freedom to speak about a subject a lot of people deemed wrong. It was wrong to mix races. It was wrong to treat them equally. I'm personally thankful that freedom of speech even includes what is deeemed as wrong. It has to.

Problem is, anyone can use freedom of speech as a weapon.....
What if the people who share child porn claim the right of "freedom of expression"?
or people who say "lkill all the <insert whoever someone hates> , i
s that OK? Is freedom of speech above all human rights?

Yes and no. If my freedom of speech infringes on the freedoms of someone else, it is no longer legitimate.
