Television, or the watching of it, is very often a face-palm worthy experience. A commercial this afternoon had me shaking my head at the falsehood and blatant misrepresentation it was pushing.
Rebate shopping. Getting cash back for spending money at a merchant. Somehow, the paid spokespeople tout it as "I get paid to shop"
NO YOU DON'T!!!!!!!!!
If you shop at a place that gives 10% cash back, and spend $100 at the store, you are still IN THE HOLE by $90. You aren't "making money", you are merely spending less.
