True confessions... I could definitely be attracted to an American (or any other guy) who could mimic certain accents, including but not limited to: British, Aussie, Scottish, and Irish.

My wife is from Mexico. That qualifies as foreign I guess. We met and got married before I was saved . I was blessed that she was a good woman . I did not decide one day to find a foreign wife for any particular reason. She did have the qualities I liked in woman. She had the physical appearance I found attractive and a firey personality. Meaning she was cute and had a stereotypical take no garbage Latina temper. I never did like the submissive type . It had less to do with where she was from but who she was . Now after becoming a Christian I did come to appreciate the fact that she had certain blunt honesty that came with the the package. She is one of the best things that ever happened to me. It's not a walk in the park either. We had to learn each other's language. ( I need to know what she is saying when she is tickled off) Their are a few cultural things that needed to be learned too . We have been together for about 19 years. The road has not always been smooth,but it has been memorable and something we won't change. So foreign wives are not bad as long as that's not what your looking for . My opinion is look for what is going to be a good match ( both being Christian is a start ) . If she happens to be foreign so let it be it is who she is . If she has to be foreign for you to date then who she is is secondary, to what she is and that is just wrong .
