*********Life can be torturous at times----Main Reason for the Thread is to encourage diligence and obedience----Heard one preacher say----"No Pain---No Pain"------his philosophy was---do it right---do it God's way---we can avoid a lot of problems that we are experiencing and have encountered--------what's your thoughts----got some advice for the younger brothers and sisters---so they can "avoid" some torturous problems...

Most of your posts are so chopped-up that I am never quite sure what you are saying.

But the word "waterboarding" was discernable. So, yes, I am for waterboarding...... and so is our Military. And so would anyone of you whose child would probably die if we did not gain necessary information by any means possible.

Huh? Waterboarding? Sounds like a fun sport!

*Looks up the real meaning of the word"

"Waterboarding is a form of water torture in which water is poured over a cloth covering the face and breathing passages of an immobilized captive, causing the individual to experience the sensation of drowning."

Oookay. Maybe not.

I wouldn't wish that on anyone. It just sounds awful.

IMO,Its attracts a person that Is predisposed to enjoying someone else's pain knowing that their sadistic desire can be satiated and sanctioned.

It may be effective, but I think It can be a demonic trade off on the hearts of men that might carry out this torture.

theres no pain in water boarding. Just the sensation of drowning. Ignorant people equate it with ripping out toenails. It's even part of seal training afaik.

Staying in the word of God as in reading the Bible and focus on the promises that God is with you throughout times when you are in pain. Also, praying and asking that God help you stay in His presence knowing that He is with you through the pain or any troubled situation you are going through.

I think most saw waterboarding and just assumed that is what you post was about. Maybe if more read through the entire post they'd get the message.

Politicians have no empathy, they'd waterboard their own grandmother if that could get them re-elected.

I have to agree that I am not seeing what waterboarding has to do with you're actual post... ***I have found Christians go through unnecessary suffering at times----(torture--more or less)----just an attention getter---I had a pastor when I was 21 that saved me from years of suffering because of his wisdom---I'm calling on older brothers and sisters to give that kind wisdom out...

******Hope you get it...
