Two things to clarify:
-- No. The man in pain is no longer here. Simply not closing out an account does not mean someone is still here. I really do hope he found a forum that does help him.

-- Reasons to lie - to save face.

-- I can use Ignore, because I can still see when bad advice will be given even without seeing what the advice was.

Like, "I'm about to say something hurtful to my sister in Christ" or "I'm now going to use the pain my brother is feeling to make a point and rub salt in it".

Honestly, what does it matter if we're right or wrong about a person's character or to try and assign motives to them?

What's important is recognizing their pain for what it is, and not letting their pain manifested in an attack against us interfere with our response. Which after all, is all WE can control.

Exactly.

Unfortunately we often fail to get past the hurt and behave in a Christlike manner by listening and loving them even when they attack us.

It isn't virtuous to subject yourself to abuse. And it isn't necessarily Christlike to roll over for abusers and take it. I mean if you want too, that is your right, but you don't get to make that choice for me too.

Lynn I get it and why you posted... Just hope you won't give up too... I almost did two weeks after I joined CC I was talking to God and I said Lord these Christians are playing MEAN.... I thought we were on the same team and it would be hugs and kumba yah....around the camp fire....

His answer to me was they aren't warring against you it's against me so stay and try and be a good example so I did stay and I have tried. Failed miserably during the political election but I'm human too and have a Blond sinful opinion just like everyone else...

But I keep talking to Him and keep dusting off and trying again with Him to be that example He would want me to be. I have found I don't or haven't gotten perfect overnight, and have a long way to go, but I keep looking at Jesus and try to keep up and He is patient with me and we walk on.

So keep on looking at Jesus Lynn no matter how many wolves show up or vultures circle... Keep walking on with God...

Excuse you? YOU'RE the one doing the attacking on here. First Max, then Utah, then Sirk and myself..I'm not the one wallowing in anger. YOU ARE. I get you're mad that people treat trolls un-nicely, but that's no reason to attack us or demand that we treat trolls better. Demands don't work too well on here..I don't know if you're in severe physical pain, or what, but there's no need to be this hostile towards people. You say you want to be more Christ-like? Really? Then work on yourself, and let each of US work on ourselves. You'll get better results that way, in your own walk with Christ. :)

I think we should sell troll tags. Antlerless and antlered. When you "see" i.e: perceive one is in our midst...you can only shoot it if you have a tag. Boom.

Being on Christian Chat is kind of no different than watching a youtube video,and all the bickering that goes on back and forth from those who watch the video with their different opinions about it,and getting nasty about it.

People like to bicker and argue with each other for the world is based on that,and it seems as if the Christians cannot abstain from acting the same way,but the tongue is an unruly member that no person can tame,for whether words,or speech,it is still the tongue,and not a physical assault.

And someone that does lash out in a wrong way,it is not justified to lash out back,then you are acting the same way.

Lol... Yeah. Sometimes I feel like its a Where's Wally? but instead of a dude in a red striped shirt and glasses its Where's Jesus? in His clean white robe.

He is always around, but sometimes we have to search for Him among the distractions!

Oh Susana,

it's easy to see how this would be a good excuse to 'keep-on-going-on - for some whose only goal
is to be 'righteous'/ have their own way', but our Lord has a different 'out-come' and very 'different-ways'
in which He teaches each of us what we need to know at just His Right Time...
