There are only 2 resurrections 1 Cor 15:23-28, 23-24.
This passage shows the 2nd or last resurrection.
--
"the kingdom of this world has now become the kingdom of our Lord and his Christ"
This points to the stone striking the statue of Dan. 2:44.
The only kingdom that is left after the stone strikes is Christ's kingdom.
The chaff is blown away, which is the souls of unbelievers, (also see Rev 20:11)
And the wheat is harvested to the "new earth", the stone fills, "becomes" the new earth.
Then eternity.

Day of the Lord, v 2,
But which "Day of the Lord"?
There were several, Babylon, Egypt, Edom, etc., all using similar symbolic language to describe the events.
There is also a Day of the Lord against Jerusalem Acts 2:16-21, and a final Day of the Lord against the world Rev 20:9.
The destruction of Jerusalem was probably only 20 years away at the time of this writting, approx..
The Apostles knew that the dest. had to happen before their generation had past Lk:21:32,
So they were warning those around them that the destruction of Jerusalem was imminent,
Which would be followed by the times of the gentiles.
Rev 20:9, the fire from heaven.
WHY, WHY, WHY, WHAT IS THE REASON, THAT JESUS DESTROYS THIS PLANET ?
Because when Magog Rev 20, surrounds restored to Israel Jerusalem,
Magog Kills Israel !
If the planet were allowed to continue, the small remnant of Israel would be absorbed into the gentile nations over time and cease to be a unique genetic race (descendants of Jacob). (best guess)
That is the sweet bitter scroll of the 2 witnesses.
We finally know the mystery of the end times, but they are bitter (deadly poison), Israel on this planet dies.
Cain kills Abel, Judas chooses Satan, this world chooses to kill Israel and reject Jesus as the Son of God And Savior.
So this planet will end, and eternity will begin,
Perhaps only months or a few years away.
Matt 24, is primarily about the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 ad.
The misunderstanding comes from the similar language used in both descriptions of the Day of the Lord against Jerusalem and the end of this planet, the final Day of the Lord.
-----
The "times of the gentiles" mentioned in Lk21:20-24, is the time from 70 ad until 1967 when Israel was restored to Jerusalem.
This verse (Matt) MAY refer to the ending of that time period.
In my opinion, if that were the case,
Then the trumpet would be the 5th trumpet,
5, the number of division or separation (10 virgins, 5 wise, 5 foolish).
This trumpet calls for Israel to begin separating from the gentile nations and returning to Israel and Jerusalem.
This would be 1929.
The released from the abyss, spirits of Caesar and Rome, participated in driving Israel from Europe and Russia, back to Israel to restore Jerusalem.
In the 5th trumpet no direction was given to the spirits (men),
But in the 6th trumpet, they come across the Euphrates to attack, headed for Jerusalem,
Restored to Israel Jerusalem.
So the idea would be that Jerusalem is restored to Israel, between the 5th and 6th trumpet.
--
Some think that the trumpet of Matt 24 is The Day of Pentecost,
But this trumpet comes after the trib. of v 29, and a sign.
Is the sign the surrounding of Jerusalem by Rome? Lk 21:20.
Pentecost came before the dest of Jeru. not after.
So the thought might be, that the sign of His coming for the resurrection would be the restoration of Jerusalem to Israel.
I remember reading with interest several posts you made on this possibility.
I believe that these all point to Christ and give us insight into His will.
I don't usually take too much worry over comets or planet alignment as signs.
But the 4 blood moons do seem to be worth thinking about.
What I have thought, is that this sign, if it is one, does not indicate an immediate recognition of events that take place after it has occurred,
That is, the sign is just the very beginning of events that may take years to evolve into recognizable prophetic fulfillment..
When the fire from heaven comes, after the 2nd resurrection, Rev 20,
There won't be anyone left alive.
And I'll see you in heaven.
The new earth is completely spiritual,
nothing material.
There will be A LOT of celebrating when we get there.
Israel is defeated, that is the bitter poison.
The 6th trumpet tells how Israel is defeated.
By the army of 200 mill.
There just won't be enough bullets, rocket or bombs to stop them, Magog and the Kings of the East.
Remember that Israel is one of the smallest of nations.
It has many enemies even within it's own borders ready to strike,
Some just across the street, in Jerusalem and other cities.
Will Israel defeat the combined forces of Iran, Iraq, the Kurds (yes them too), Egypt, Libya, Turkey, Lebanon, Gaza, West Bank, Hezbollah, Russia and others?
Israel has won previous wars.
But this time with Iraq "dried up" (Rev 16:12), Iran's forces will win, a fulfillment of prophecy,
(they are already building bases in Syria, and already have militias in place, it's only a matter of time now)
The great trib., 70 ad until 1967, the 2nd, 3 1/2 times.
(the 1st, 3 1/2 times is from the angel in Babylon in Dan. ch 12, until the power of the holy people is scattered in 70 ad)
The 7 times is the same time as the statue of Dan. 2, which shows the time from Babylon, until Israel is restored to Jerusalem.
