The Holy Spirit is not the One to pray to. The Son is as He is at that throne of grace. The Son is the only Mediator between God and men. The Lamb of God is how we have access to God the Father in prayer. This is why the Holy Spirit is called the Comforter whereas the Son is called the Bridegroom. The Bridegroom speaks to us thru the Holy Spirit but our response as the bride is to the Bridegroom; not to the Comforter since it is really the Bridegroom speaking to us.
John 16:[SUP]13 [/SUP]Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.[SUP]14 [/SUP]He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.[SUP]15 [/SUP]All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
So return to your first love because the Holy Spirit was never meant to serve as the Go To Person of the Triune God, but the Son is as He meant what He had said that He is the only way to come to God the Father by so as to avoid seducing spirits.
John 14:[SUP]6 [/SUP]Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me......[SUP]13 [/SUP]And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.[SUP]14 [/SUP]If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

But here Jesus says when He resurrects to heaven,to not ask Him anything, but ask the Father, which He was talking to the disciples,so it is not a future event.
The saints do not ask the Son,the man Christ Jesus anything, like they would deal with Jesus while on earth, but when He resurrects to heaven they can go to Jesus as God and ask Him,and He will do it.
But what do you do about ask only the Father.

Jesus said we only ask the Father.
