If you will turn to Genesis 2 you find that Adam was one person alone. God wanted a helper for him as his complement. A part of Adam (a rib) was used to create a woman helper. Now there were two. Those two were united in marriage, and God said they became one. I called it half's coming together, call it anything you like. Two parts, one man and one woman became one in marriage. It is complete. I don't see how this can be the way God created and still it also be that one man and two women can make one.

Just one, but not until God reveals to her what He has revealed to me. It is not necessary for me to air out our dirty laundry with regard to what has gone on in my marriage. I have my reasons, and that is all anybody needs to know.

The point is, there is no Biblical justification for this form of legalism that emanates from the Roman Catholic Church, whether I myself want a second wife, or if I am simply approaching this from a purely theoretical point of view.

Paul never made that requirement of priests, and I don't believe the Bible indicates that we are Kings.

It appears you are admitting that you have no Biblical justification for your claim. You remain loyal to your wives by remaining with them through thick and thin; by never divorcing any of them.

That is not my logic; it is an illustration of what you get when you take disjointed passages of Scripture, as you have done here, and try to bolster false teachings with it. Paul spoke of specific leaders of the church, and priests and kings were not among that group.
