I listen to gospel music, though sometimes its hard to hear over the catharting. But I must say my husband is an expert catharter. He taught me about something called a dutch oven? :( Long walks in the park with the dogs is great for catharting though sometimes it can be confused as gun shots living in the south and all.Have to be careful where you cathart.

All joking aside I make up my deck each summer.I have a large swing, tall palm plants and a fountain to make it calm and relaxing. I listen to music or read and its like a little get away on a stressful day.

I think the definition is a bit off. Catharting is something you might do while watching a particularly moving movie. If you glance around you see other people's eye's fill up with tears as the hero dies. The audience is silent except for a scattered gasp or sob. And then you join in. You cathart right there in the movie theater.
It seems we are not sticking to any definition at all. We seem to have strayed from blowing off steam and into relaxing territory.

Too bad for the cuss word in the video title Zero, I had to chuckle when I watched it.
