YES!!!!
And if you deny Jesus. You are an "antiChrist"
And john said you were never saved, End of story..

The only thing we must do is answer the call and keep the faith.
That is denying salvation to deny Jesus. This is what apostasy is and can happen to those who backslide into weak faith. They become a potential to fall away. Or choked out by the thorns. Does it happen to believers? I believe yes. Is it normal? I say no. But its not impossible.
So it never happens in Baptist churches? Strange I have a good friend who grew up baptist and left for the military, came back and he dont even know what he believes anymore.
And this is what happened in the early Calvinist churches which is why John Wesley spoke against it so much. And now the Baptist has this theology that came from this kind of view. It may be similar to the gospel now but still tainted with that belief.
Isn't it wonderful that it is so easy to get saved?![]()

Say what?
You never answered me,, Would you ever lose faith in someone who NEVER let you down, Who ALWAYS has your best interest in heart. Who saved you from eternal wrath?
Do you have an answer? Saying you have seen it does not answer my question. You can not prove those people ever had faith to begin with..
How much faith? And answer the call? Have we not already done that?
I have been to numerous baptist churches all over the United States (retired military). And I have never heard that thought in any of them.
Where do you get your info?
Does that mean he was ever saved?
I grew up baptist.I know m,any who left along time ago and now never follow God or even admit they ever knew him,
is that because they were4 saved and lost faith? Or never had it to begin with? "A dog returns to his vomit" type of thing...
ABSOLUTELY, and NO ONE can call JESUS LORD, CHRIST and SAVIOR without it being revealed form the Heavenly Father dia salvation (PETER and the reference of Jesus)

God chose all to be saved not a elect few that God reveals himself to and then that person is forced to respond. Basically this is what your saying that to all who hasn't responded has not been called yet.
But Romans 1 God has made himself evident to all since the beginning and therefore without excuse. John 3:16 so that everyone who believes. Saying believes is redundant if we are forced.
The whole tulip concept sounds great in the perseverance of the saints until you actually see what its saying.
You need to re-read pal...I am saying the exact same thing JESUS said concerning PETER....take it up with him cake taker!
The law is our gatekeeper.....
huh? why have you developed a new doctrine?
the law is not our gatekeeper - the Spirit is.
