correct. God knows who truly follows him. we do not have that degree of knowledge. so we should be very careful about judging other's relationship with the Lord.
True judging is wrong but correcting and helping a fellow brother or sister in love and patience who is showing struggle in the fruit area is highly motivated.

True biblical belief is of the heart - not in the head or mind. God looks on the heart - man look on the outward appearance.

Getting "saved" is simple.

Romans 10:9-10 (NASB)
[SUP]9 [/SUP] that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;

[SUP]10 [/SUP] for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.

The process is simple too.

1) we hear the message of Christ - the gospel of our salvation in Him

2) we believe the message from our hearts

3) we were sealed with the Holy Spirit

( Jesus said in John 14:16 that the Holy Spirit will be with us and in us forever - now was Jesus lying or is he like a "bait and switch" car salesman that has "fine print" which He doesn't talk about - Jesus is NOT a liar. We can trust Him. He alone is our Savior - not ourselves )

Ephesians 1:13 (NASB)
[SUP]13 [/SUP] In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, = 1) the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, = 2) you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, = 3)

you were sealed =
aorist indicative tense / passive voice = a one time event in the past that is completed.

Passive voice = the sealing was not done by us but by an outside force - the Holy Spirit Himself.

gb9 - now it is funny in an ironic kind of a way.

Here you are saying you should not judge peoples spiritual state and you were
quite happy to write me off. I do agree on the point of where people are, it does
not matter to me, because I cannot change it. All I can do is share the love of Christ,
witness to the glory of His righteousness and doing the right thing, and it is up to
each individual to walk as they are lead.

The great thing about love is it builds us up, it takes our wounds and heals them
and breath value into things that otherwise seem pointless.

Our mission is to bring salt and light into the world thereby leading people to the
source, the Father through Christ and the cross, Amen.

Grieving the Holy Spirit does not separate Christ from us. That is a religious teaching that denies the work of Christ and leaves the believer in Christ in fear and it actually does more harm to say that He leaves us then the grieving of Him does. Paul says "Grieve not the Holy Spirit with who you are sealed unto the day of redemption." Eph. 4:30

God gives us a new heart when we believe on Christ - cleansing our hearts by faith. Jesus by the Holy Spirit comes and makes us a new creation. We need to have the basics of the what Christ did on the cross or we end creating a works-based salvation which actually nullifies the very grace from operating in our lives like it should.

This lose your salvation as in being one spirit with the Lord and thus not having eternal life is the worst demonically inspired doctrine that he has put in the mind of man. It completely undermines the whole "why" of the gospel in the first place and it denies the work on Christ on the cross and resurrection and makes it man-centered instead of Christ-centered.

This false doctrine has done more harm to the body of Christ then any other doctrine because it denies Christ's finished wok on the cross and resurrection. It puts the focus on man and not on Christ.

A person believes with the heart and not the mind. The mind can get sick in it's thinking for various reasons. Only God who looks on the heart can say if they person when they heard the message of Christ.

There are warning scriptures for us living in this earth and that can bring death to us. Take up shooting heroin in our arms today and the reality of that will come quickly.

I don't believe Jesus is a liar when He said the Holy Spirit will be in you forever. If we are not cemented in this truth of the gospel - we water down the gospel and make it about us. That's anti-the gospel and actually is denying the Lord and Master that saved us.
The word sealed is an earnest agreement which in an agreement God has forever laid his offer on the table it's up to us to respond in faith so that the earnest agreement is completed the day of death. Does the Holy Spirit save you or your faith in grace save you? The holy spirit is a helper and a promise of what is to come to those who persevere in faith.

Correct and the Holy spirit is the small taste of what is to come for those who continue in faith. That is the small promise of what is to come. Your naming the first steps of salvation but leaving out the relationship part with God.

[FONT=&quot]The seal is a mark of the Holy Spirit nothing in scripture says that this automatically secures you. In fact the word seal in greek is 4972 spharagizo. This word is from 4973 spharagis "a seal". Basically the same word in greek is used for the seal on the tomb that was broken, the seals in revelations scrolls will be opened and also implying a king's signet ring marking what is his. It's only a promise to the obedient. So to the obedient, it is a promise we can hold onto.

13
And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.

Deposit guarantee in greek is the word arrabon meaning an earnest payment.

An earnest payment is a specific form of security deposit made in some major transactions and when the transaction is settled then the deposit is applied to the buyer's portion of the remaining costs. If the offer is rejected, the earnest money is usually returned, since no binding contract has been entered into.

Indicating the offer can be rejected if the one looking to follow God, does not fulfill his side of the pledge( sufficient proof) highlighted in red below...........

Definition: an earnest, earnest-money, a large part of the payment, given in advance as a security that the whole will be paid afterwards.
[/FONT]

HELPS Word-studies
728 arrhabṓn – properly, an installment; a deposit ("down-payment") which guarantees the balance (the full purchase-price).
728 /arrhabṓn ("down-payment pledge") is the regular term in NT times for "earnest-money," i.e. advance-payment that guarantees the rest will be given. 728 (arrhabṓn) then represents full security backed by the purchaser who supplies sufficient proof they will fulfill the entire pledge (promise).

What is sufficient proof? Probably a believer who remains faithful in obedience to the end. To the faithful we are marked and in our relationship with Christ, we can trust in his promise of our inheritance until the day of redemption once we die in flesh and live in spirit.

That is a religious teaching
This is how you create religious teaching, by overlaying ideas on top of simple scripture.
The lie is in describing a concept you invent it, and then create its mirror opposite and
declare you have brought light to the world, where as you have created a mirror image
prison.

Neat trick that, bind people without them realising it.

Two ways to teach. Encourage people to do something, or encourage them not to
do the opposite. The result is the same. So you hate rules, so do not say do not live
by rules, just criticise rules as only pointing out evil and there to show how bad you are.

The message will soon be received and understood.

Even Paul had to train himself to do right and run the race in such a way to win the reward. Why say that if he already won it? It just goes against all of the other scriptures in the Bible. OSAS gives no inclination or strive to do anything because heck why when your saved already. It gives too much lead way to peoples sinful nature to abuse that doctrine

peter, I do think you rely way too much on feelings and emotions, and you insult others way too much, but as far as your heart for God, that I think you have.

Jesus said that when He - the Holy Spirit comes that He will be in you forever. Jesus is not a liar. The false religion of losing one's salvation is what leaves out walking in the true relationship that is ours in the Lord.

We are sealed with the Holy Spirit for the day of redemption. I have good news for all of us. we are not our saviors. Christ alone is our Savior. Holding out until we die or we will lose our eternal life which is in us because of Christ makes death our savior. Christ is our Savior - not death.

Yes, there are warnings about living after the flesh which if unheeded will cause trouble in this life. If we don't believe that God will take care of us in this life - we will lose our peace and live a life full of turmoil. Will that now send us to hell because we didn't experience His salvation in the area of peace in our minds?

Does Jesus and the Holy Spirit forsake us now because we do not experience this peace even though He said He never would forsake us?

Of course Jesus is not lying. It's the very same for all things to do with the flesh and not inheriting the promises of God through faith and patience while we are in this world.

Is Jesus lying to us with every second word that comes out of His mouth? Our minds cannot trust someone that is like that. Thank God that He is not a man that He should lie.

Here is what John said - he wrote so that they would know that they do have eternal life because of Christ in them.

1 John 5:13 (NASB)
[SUP]13 [/SUP] These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.
We receive His eternal life in us when we hear the message of Christ and believe His truth - then we are sealed with the Holy Spirit forever. Eph. 1:13 & John 14:16

The problem with the above is a the one of a permanent contract with
no bail outs.

Entering into the Kingdom is equivalent to a new plant shooting up in soil.
If fed and watered it lives and grows, but if not it can shrivel and die.

Why is this so hard to accept? While you have faith you are alive, when
this leaves you, you have spiritually died.

The dilemma is many see saw through their life, and the emotional discussion
with the Lord is complicated and long drawn out.

Maybe there is a state where people still have faith or a belief in God but find
the internal conflicts too much and need a time away, to live and learn rather
than be in the hot house, however that works.

So we have a mystery as to when we are sealed, and how this works in us.
I tend towards it is a mystery, and each ones walk is different, so praise the
Lord.

What is wrong is to put a belief on just touching the Kingdom is salvation,
where this is just a taster of what might be, you need to jump in and dwell
in this place.

What this is indicative of - is that we don't trust the Holy Spirit in us to lead us. We don't trust the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus. We don't trust the law of faith. It is an anti-Christ belief system and it is destructive to having the very grace of God that is in Christ alone from operating like it should in us.

What we are doing is replacing the role of Christ in our lives for ourselves. We are falling for the same lie that Adam and Eve fell for in the garden. We must save ourselves by what we do or don't do.

Exactly and Ephesians 1:13 shows the process.

1) we hear the message of Christ 2) we believe the message when we hear it 3) we are sealed with the Holy Spirit

Ephesians 1:13 (NASB)

I don't know how much plainer it can get. People have the choice to either believe Christ Himself is the Savior or they are. They can choose to believe that if they hold out until the end ( whatever that means in reality ) that then death can be their savior.

True biblical belief is a matter of the heart and we respond when we hear the message of Christ- not of the mind. God creates a new heart in us - incorruptible.

All we must do is surrender daily to deny ourselves and take up the cross this is what leads to obedience as Christ works in us with us as we surrender(faith) to his will. We are in a relationship and its on us to grow in faith. Why else would the author of Hebrews make a statement like by now you should be consuming whole food but you are still infants.
