I love the truths of Scripture. you do not speak them. nothing personal. I am sure you are a good guy. but saying that one is not saved by grace alone, that salvation must be " proved by good works " is not Biblical truth.
this is not a game to me peter. I care deeply about other people coming out of this wicked, broken world system, coming to Christ. so yes, I am antagonistic toward anyone who would say anything that might prevent that.
I hear story after story from young people at my church about being shown the Love of God through Christ for them changed their sinful ways. telling them they have to do things to maintain God's love would re-enforce their feelings of unworthiness, many of them mention that feeling.
words matter. people matter. truth matters. fact matters.
The last refrain we can all agree with.
What surprises me is your antagonism, based on the premise it is wicked to believe
we have fruit of Gods work in our lives.
Now I do not hold to proving salvation, because I think this is an absurd idea.
It is like saying prove you are married. One has a wife and lives together.
So you make me an enemy and say I am wicked for something I do not do.
So do you see how sinful your behaviour is and condemning. You feel empowered to disown
all my spiritual experiences, my faith, my hopes, my prayers, all that I am on this basis.
I do not know what makes you feel this is righteous behaviour, or how you have become an
agent of destruction and not love and grace, but this is your fruit, to destroy and rip at others.
The reason why I oppose lawlessness, is because morality matters, and the gospel is about
love and communion with Him empowering us to be moral salt and light in this world.
I would hope you do believe we need to be moral people in our walk with Christ?
