The second has no relevance to the first (or the third}. You don't even know the difference between the gift of faith (extra faith given to some to do exploits ( e.g. George Mueller) and saving faith,
Faith can only be the size of a mustard seed... But when planted (The Gift) It can Grow.....

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Eph 2.

You must be too intelligent to accept it. Maybe you can boast of your many exploits when the time arrives. For me, I'm good with allowing His perfection to take it's due and full glory. You might be better off being a troll than to actually believe this lukewarm doctrine.
I have no idea why you cannot see love is a problem for you.
It has always been my heart in Christ from the start of coming to faith.

Some obviously see Christ very differently. I fear people are very religious while denying it.

Every person who meets Christ, love is the overwhelming impression they get.

now concerning the Gifts of faith..

It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than a rich man to enter the kingdom of Heaven...

Now why is it so many rich man give to the needy ?
To which I responded and asked for the relevance and also said that I don't think it makes sense.

Now to me you say "it is easier for a a camel to go through the eye of a needle than a rich man to enter the kingdom of Heaven"
Then you say "Now why is it so many rich man give to the needy"

To me your two quotes contradict each other. Jesus says it easier for a camel to go through the eye of needle (I assume you know what that means) so it is obviously very difficult

When you look at the context here a rich young man has come to Jesus to aks him "What must I do to inherit eternal life?
Jesus quotes the law to him and the rich young man says "I have kept them all"

Then

Mark 10:21-22

Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.”
But he was sad at this word, and went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.

Jesus asked him to give it all away and follow him.

The reason why rich men Give to the needy is because works do matter
Now this rich young man claimed to have kept the whole law, now if as you say giving to the is a work, this young man kept the Mosaic law but could not keep this one, therefore keeping the Mosaic Law and not this one means he has fallen foul by just one work he could not do. The rest he did keep means diddly squat.

I am not saying works do not matter, we do not do works to be saved but we do works because we are saved.
It is the Holy Spirit working in us to conform us to the image of Christ.

Can I ask you "Have you sold everything you have to give it to the poor? I guess not, cause if you had you wouldn't have a laptop or iPad or whatever you are using to be posting on this forum.

You see, fall foul of one work every other work you have kept means nothing

Jimbo my friend, that really does not answer my post above.

You quote first fruits which is correct

But Jesus said to the rich young man "Give it all away"

I am quoting the rich young man because you quoted "Eye of the needle" which was the end of the end of the concourse where Jesus said "Sell it All and give it to the needy.

All is not the first fruit it is all the fruit.

It also seems to me "Wait patiently for that day of salvation" which if memory serves me is something you hope for but not yet sure of you have now bought up.

Any reason why? Me thinks you are trying to tie works with salvation in the hope that works assure your salvation.

So I ask you again based on the rich young ruler and the response of Jesus.

Have you sold all you have and given it to the needy (a work of giving as you have stated).

Please for me can reconcile my question with your thoughts.

compared to some you may be.

Compared to the 3rd world you are.

Anyway i think being rich or not is not the point Jesus was making.

To me Jesus was making a point the rich young man.

The rich young man said he keeps the whole of the law. I do this and do that. I don't steal, commit adultery, murder, defraud and the rest.

Jesus saw straight away that even though he said he had kept the letter of the law he fell foul of the following

Exodus 20:3
“You shall have no other gods before Me.

The rich young mans wealth was his God.

Does this qualify under the banner of boasting before men and getting your reward...the praise of men?
