Ravi explains why you have to be careful talking to Muslims, "because they are determined to dig their heels in, and will find a way to escape out of everything that you try to say to them." Please note that the quotation marks mean that those are Ravi's words and not mine. I feel I have to put this disclaimer in for all the haters. Ravi has been a Christian apologist for over forty five years.

Ravi Zacharias Explains Why the Quran is not God's Word

He explains how they are forced to belief on pain of death; how they view Jesus.
I love Ravi in these types of subjects. The Lord has anointed him to speak to those that are of a humanistic natural mindsets. The reality is that unless the Holy Spirit reveals Christ to them - we can't expect anyone to "accept" what is being said about the Lord just from our natural response to them.

Ravi spoke about the Holy Spirit's influence at the end of this video. Good stuff. Thanks.

We can expect the wisdom of the Lord to speak through us to speak to their hearts influenced by the Holy Spirit. He will give them what "they need" to show His love and grace towards them. Jesus loves Muslims and He will do whatever it takes to reveal Himself to them.

While I dont disagree with the teaching that only God can call people to Him, I never understand why people ever bring that up when talking about ministering to others. Thats not a reason to not try and minister to anyone.

Jesus told us to share the Gospel at every part of the world. We already know that God is calling people to Him : p Theres no reason at all to not try.

Oh, and Im not accusing Grace 777x70 btw, he just reminded me of people who say things like this : p

At the current rate that Muslims are flooding Western Countries, I wonder how long it will be until their numbers are large enough to begin to take over the Governments of those Countries?

Hopefully, I will not live long enough to see this............but, in case people do not think it can happen in the U.S., I suggest they look at Minnesota where the Muslim population is exploding, and they are already having an effect on Local Governments and School Systems.
Oooh, I once saw a video about how when the birth rate of a culture drops below I think 2.5, that that culture will die off and no longer exist. It focused on immigration of Muslims into Europe, and European birth rates. France has been below it for some time, the video stated. And it said that in around 50 years the French people will no longer exist. And the video claimed that Germany is really close to this, and that the government of Germany said that in around 50 years Germany will be an Islamic nation.

The reason that Islam is the worlds "fastest growing religion" is not due to so many converts, but to their very high birth rate. And they are flocking into western nations, which currently have a very low birth rate. Its crazy to think about, but if that trend continues Muslims from the Middle East could very possibly make up the majority of western nations : p

(thats not any kind of call to action, for anyone whos reacting emotionally to this thread btw)

Although, thats a good reason to become more fired up about helping others find Christ. But we already know that He will have His people on the earth until the last day : p

So its just the meat thats the focus? Ive heard something like that before, Im just asking for clarity.

I know alot of non-meat food products get that seal of approval too, whats the qualification for them? Do they just pay money to get it? : p

Also, Amazing-Grace once asked on this forum, and I dont remember if she got a response or not. But eating meat blessed by idols, can a Christian eat that? Or should they avoid any halal certified foods?

Im also curious about how common this is in the US, I should probly look into this haha.

We arent allowed to eat meat blessed by idols, meat with blood (bad for us steak lovers) and teh meat of animals who were strangled.
They also just bless other foods. Its not just meats that are comitted to idols. idk what they do with the veggies and stuff. but the meat ive seen how they do it
Acts 15:20
But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.

Quote "no one on these forums or in the world scares me" Right,so stop calling people clan members. Quote " I hold no grudges or hatred towards anyone." Great,so we ought to be friends now. Quote "I make simple observations its not my fault if people take it personal when it wasn't intended." Spoke too soon..Really, your observations are not meant to be personal, really, really? Quote "I even tell others who clearly have bitterness i will pray for them. Is that from a place of love and humbleness? or superiority? I hope its the former, because its not really coming across that way. Quote "I'll tell you what though well see how long before Blue or Mag get in another argument with another person." I'll tell you what, why dont you leave them to God and pray for them as you have suggested if you think they are in the wrong. As my husband says "you do you,I'll do me." We have people to police the forums, lets let them do their job.
I have no problem being friends, i never pray for others out of "superiority" that gives no glory to God. I pray for them because I acknowledge if they hold on to bitterness they will not enter the kingdom.

Yeah but when people are grocery shopping, they ain't gonna look at every label to see if it contains halal or not..

yeah, but what I meant was;

If you steak is "bloody" and you cook it - you still eat the blood
Kosher (and halal?) is about removing the blood before preparing the meat ... I think ... am no expert :p
