Anyone watch Tucker last night? Ted Cruz was on. Interesting interview.

WOULDN'T IT BE A HOOT IF CRUZ WAS THE ONE WHO CAME UP WITH THE PLAN TO SAVE TRUMP'S WALL, AND MAKE MEXICO PAY FOR IT?

He said (paraphrasing) he introduced Legislation to declare that ALL MONIES seized from Drug Cartels/Gangs operating in/through Mexico along our Southern Border be DESIGNATED to PAY for the building of the wall and other Border Security actions.

He said that El Chapo guy we now have in custody has a net worth of about 14 Billion dollars and we should work to seize all of his assets.......and, by the way, the cost of the wall will be in the neighborhood of 14 Billion dollars........

It got him a bunch of cowardly, traitorous Democrats vowing to thumb their noses at anything he tries to do... even if it means America dies in flames because of their cowardice.

I would be ashamed to have voted against a great judge that I had earlier swore was a good man, and happily voted him into his last position........ just because Trump nominated him.

Those democrats vowing to thumb their noses at anything he tries to do are probably trying to pay back republicans for not even checking out the supreme court Judge that Obama chose,IMO.I digress.

Does that explain them blocking everything else, too?

The Republicans said they did not want that judge. That is understandable and rational. The Democrats have openly said "We will oppose anything and everything Trump proposes........ we don't care WHAT it is.... simply because it is something Trump may introduce."

Of course it is. Every single person ever elected was elected because they said they would do something the voters wanted. So did Trump. And He will build the wall he promised. In fact it is already beginning, as we type.

Well, realistically, it was stubborn Republicans who forced Obama into going around congress with all his EO's, just like Trump is doing.

That is one of the biggest reasons the swamp of DC needs to be drained of most politicians.

There honestly is little difference between ANY brand of career politicians.

Wishful thinking,that wall will not be built unless Mexico pays for It,whether Trump likes It or not.BTW,money doesn't grow on trees.

There is already something in place acting as a barrier to try to help keep illegals out, so the idea is certainly not new, and in fact, twenty two years ago Clinton got a standing ovation for speaking about taking more aggressive measures to keep illegals out, and deporting them when necessary etc etc ad nauseum, so what has really changed? Oh, besides the fact that you probably have over twenty million more illegals in your country since then... Would you support just allowing what is already in place to just fall into complete disrepair to the point of total uselessness?

We vote every 2 years for congress and every 4 years for pres.

people vote their congressmen into office

It's the Americans who vote THEIR rep's into office

If you want to drain the swamp, it's up to the voters to do it.

Each person runs in their own district, local people vote for them.

Many rep's are newly elected, new to Washington.

when you criticize the whole group as "career politicians" it's not fair.

It seems like when you say to drain the swamp, you mean get rid of only the people who disagree with you.
