John 12 says they were a the house of Martha. Matt 26 says they are at Simon's house, Luke 7 says hey were at a Pharisees house.
It has to 3 different accounts and not the same woman.
Indeed I agree, IMO the account in John 12 is speaking more on that event at Martha's house in that Lazarus was also present at the dinner in honor of Jesus. Martha and her sister Mary and Lazarus are all from Bethany as mentioned in John 11:1
John 11:1
Now a man named Lazarus was sick. He was from Bethany, the village of Mary and her sister Martha.
the dinner at Martha's house is mentioned in two gospels john 12 and Luke 10
in the Gospel Luke mentions both anointments one in Luke 7 the sinful woman and the other in Luke 10 at Martha's house.
The sinful woman anointment account is mentioned in Luke at Simon the Pharisees house. Simon was a popular name back then, hence Jesus calls one of His disciples "Simon Peter". quite afew Simons around as well as a few Mary's and Johns etc..
Mark and Mathew speak on the anointment from a woman who came to Simon the leper house.
IMO these anointments happen in the first three days one each day upon Jesus arrival at a village aka
Bethany near Jerusalem six days before the Passover "day of preparation" on which Jesus was crucified.
Luke 10 and John 12 account at Martha's house
Jh12:1 Six days before the Passover, Jesus arrived at Bethany, where Lazarus lived, whom Jesus had raised from the dead.
Lk10:38 As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village (
Bethany) where a woman named Martha opened her home to him.
Jh12:2 Here a dinner was given in Jesus' honor. Martha served, while Lazarus was among those reclining at the table with him.
Lk10:39 She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet listening to what he said.
Lk10:40 But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, "Lord, don't you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!"
Lk10:41 "Martha, Martha," the Lord answered, "you are worried and upset about many things,
Lk10:42 but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her."
Jh12:3 Then Mary took about a pint of pure nard, an expensive perfume; she poured it on Jesus' feet and wiped his feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.
Jh12:4 But one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, who was later to betray him, objected,
Jh12:5 "Why wasn't this perfume sold and the money given to the poor? It was worth a year's wages.
Jh12:6 He did not say this because he cared about the poor but because he was a thief; as keeper of the money bag, he used to help himself to what was put into it.
Jh12:7 "Leave her alone," Jesus replied. "[It was intended] that she should save this perfume for the day of my burial.
Jh12:8 You will always have the poor among you, but you will not always have me."
Jh12:9 Meanwhile a large crowd of Jews found out that Jesus was there and came, not only because of him but also to see Lazarus, whom he had raised from the dead.
