Plane = flat
t

I've never been higher than 40,000 feet in the air. I don't recall seeing a curve there, but at that time I didn't know about the flat earth theory and wasn't a Christian.

I've never been in to space, or looked through a telescope at so-called galaxies.

When I sit in my garden peacefully watching the insects fly around and flowers being perfectly still, I don't feel like I'm spinning on a giant ball at 1000mph or hurtling through space at tens of thousands of miles per hour.

The only information about 'space' that I know of has been given through TV for the last 50+ years in sci-fi and from atheist scientists and pop culture celebrities like Bill Nye the Bachelor of Engineering guy and in text books which teach you to memorize statements in order to pass exams.

Science says that stars should change colour over billions of years, where as I saw them cycle through them in less than a second.

God's enemy is in running the deception and has control of NASA and controls what is taught in text books.

I'm sure you'll be amazed, though. When you get called to meet the Lord in the air and can see things as they really are.
Do you realize that NASA is not the only one cosmic agency? Almost every developed country has one.

Russia, China, India, France, UK, ESA, Italy, Vatican observatory etc etc would all have to lie... why?

You mean why would a few hundred people in charge of atheist institutions be interested in weakening faith in scripture?

A Catholic came up with the big bang theory, which essentially is nothing more than another atheist fantasy.

Do you honestly believe you're spinning at 1000mph on a giant ball in space?

Do you believe that the universe is 13+ billion years old? Was God simply using metaphors?

As soon as you doubt one thing God says, you're open up to other accusations. "Oh but you believe this? But you don't believe *this* scripture".

Guess which cursed liar causes Christians to doubt.
Genesis 3:1

Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

Jeremiah 11:9
And the Lord said unto me, A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

Yes, I accept the Big Bang and all the cosmology our science teaches.

I do not believe in any mass conspiracy against Christianity.

There is nothing in the Bible that contradicts what the science has to say.

To the OP:

Like Judge Judy says, "get on with it because I've got a lot things to do today". :D

You accept that a big bang happened for no reason, and then your ancestor evolved from a rock in to a fish and then you randomly ended up on a Christian discussion forum...?

The rest of your post is simply naive.

The greatest thing about our Lord Jesus, is that we can have some of the most ridiculously crazy theories about our world, but as long as we accept Him as the Lord of our life, we have eternal security in Him.

Is it possible that God caused the Big Bang? It would make sense.

How else would it have been caused, if not by God?

If the rest of my post is naive, I wonder how to call your questions about Big Bang or evolution.

Despite the fact that we have PROOF that the Earth is spherical, Why does any of this relate to religion?

I have been asking this since this post began.

I highly doubt the Lord sent his only son down to teach us about the shape of the planet.

The gospel of flat earth is not as important as the gospel of Jesus Christ :/

Nothing?
Revelation 7:1

King James Bible
And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.

I understand if you don't want to hop onto a fringe conspiracy and deny everything taught to us by school and our government institutions the past 400 years, but don't pretend that the Bible doesn't contradict accepted cosmology.

If somebody believes in a huge international conspiration against "the real shape of the Earth", he can buy a flight ticket from the north pole to the south pole and try this:

On the north pole he will see the stars in the sky.

In the middle of his journey (for example in Europe) he will see another stars in the sky.

On the south pole he will see again the stars he saw in the north pole.

Reason? The Earth is not flat.

Yeah, Revelation is about cosmology.

I hope you are prepared for the literal beast with several heads (because Revelation is also about zoology).

You have very bad exegesis.
