Amen.

The absolute truth in the sight of our Father is that calling Sunday the SÇabbath of the Lord is a traditio of man taught as commandment of our Father, and this is simply a lie.

Remember whoever teaches against the least of the laws,, that is laws acording to the teaching of Jesus Christ, will be least in the Kingdom. You may be in the Kingdom, but under the majority if there is such a thing.

The Sabbath is not a tradition it is a commandment of God. (Ex 20:8-11) You break it you break God's Law. Sin is the transgression of God's Law (1John 3:4). Jesus says if you love me keep my commandments (John 14:15) Do you love Jesus Ariel?

What I don't understand is how people can't see that God kept the Sabbath when He was creating heaven and earth. Surely if it is good enough for our Creator to rest a day and enjoy His creation it should be good enough for us?

Absolutely JamieJ,

Jesus tells us himself that we are not following God if we replace God's Word with man made traditions....

"This people draw nigh unto me with their mouth, and honors me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men." (Matt 15:8-9)

We make the Word of God of none effect if we follow the traditions of man....

"He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. (Mar 7:6)

"Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men." (Mar 7:7)

"For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do." (Mar 7:8)

"And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition." (Mar 7:9)

"For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death. (Mar 7:10)

"But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free." (Mar 7:11)

"And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother. (Mar 7:12)

"Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye." (Mar 7:13)

Either we believe God or we don't, but whatsoever is not of faith is sin. Gods 7th Day Sabbath is God's Law written and spoken by God himself to His people. Sunday worship is a man made tradition that the Church is substituting in place of the commandments of God.

God is calling a people to follow him in spirit and in truth I hope everyone will come and hear the voice of Him who loves us and washed us in His own Blood. He loves us and does not wish that any should be lost. He is not slack as some men count slackness but is long suffering to us-ward, not willing that any of us should perish, but that all should come to repentance and be saved. (2Pet 3:9)

The Day of the Lord is coming we should ask ourselves do we love and follow Jesus (the Word) or are we following the traditions of men. "Fear God and give glory to him because the hour of God's Judgement has come and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters." (Rev 14:7) It is the 7th Day Sabbath that is a sign that God's people worship the only true God of creations.... God's Sheep hear His Voice.

God bless you all. Good night (my time)

Hi GandalfTheWhite, Good points... I think not all want to come to the light. But the light is always shining to guide us back to Jesus for those that want to follow him. Not everyone loves and reads God's Word. People are complacent to follow other peoples interpretation of it and do not realize that part of the New covenant is that God wants to know us personally and be our teacher. We must follow him if we love him.

God bless you brother, good night (my time)

If Seventh Day Adventism values the Ten Commandments, why do they kill human beings in the womb? They perform elective abortions in their health care facilities, as well as allowing abortions amongst their membership. Abominations.

Also, if you are so concerned about traditions, why do Seventh Day Adventists believe eating meat is sinful? EGW made direct statements in this regard. She claimed eating meat caused people to sin because they acquired the animal passions of the beast they consumed. From a biblical basis, there is NO prohibition concerning consuming meat, in fact Romans 14 says that those who are vegetarians are immature and weak in the faith.

Same with claiming drinking any alcohol is a sin..another SDA teaching.

You have a gripe about the SDA, start a thread. No onehere is teaching SDA doctrine that I know of.

As fro abortion, killing in general, and any other sin or sinner you may wish to condemn, theree is no sin that is unpardonable except that of blaspheming the Holy Spirit, and in that one I have read it is only possibly upardonable...

You want to pick and choose which sins send other to the lake of fire, be a judge. Myself, I await Jesus Christ's return shyaring the mercy He has shown me.

Jesus is King, and He is returning with justice and judgmen in His Hand. Any who claim to know Him and judgeother so in this age are judging before the Kingdom and teh King have come. Reingin before teh King is here...not wise.

No...

So many folks here say so all knowingly that the Seventh Day, the Sabbath of the Lord, God is but a shadow of what is to come.

You know what?!? They are absoutely correct. It is a representation of eternal rest with wour Father in the Living Kingdom

I wonder if those knowledgeable folks thing the Day selected by God was a shadow of the first day of the week. Would this not mean for them thsi age is their rest? God forbid.

Many are on the path and their understanding of truth and its application should grow as we learn to yield our will to His, true freedom is self control (one of the fruits of the spirit) and accountability to the Almighty on an ongoing basis, if you think you can commit to the kingdom of light and then do what seems right in your own eyes your mistaken.

Yes. Working at the 10 commandments was a mere shadow of what we have, RIGHT NOW in Christ.

Hebrews 7:16-19

Ephesians 2:13-16

13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Does the Lord give us Rest or did He really mean rest for some other age in the distant future??

I'll answer because a legalist that is looking for Israels reign from Jerusalem, carnal understanding, will miss it.

Yes, the Lord Jesus Christ gives us Rest right now, by faith.

Romans 10:4-11

7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Good morning Grandpa (my time),

Well all I can say my friend is that you are really AMAZING! Even after people tell you what they believe you go and accuse them of the opposite? Now this is just being deceitful. If you read the posts that were sent to you earlier why are you still accusing people of things they are not doing? It seems you are closing your own eyes to the Word of God and accusing people of doing things they are not doing even after they have told you what they believe? The funny thing though is that when you open your eyes again God's Word will still be there it is forever. Jesus had problems dealing with some people that did not want to hear His Word as well. I hope it will not be the same with you. Do you know what these scriptures are talking about below?

Jesus said..."And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them." (Matt 13:14-15)

May God help you my friend

Paul is the first to give all glory to Jesus Christ and His Gospel

Paul says, and it is true, there is no other gospel.

Too many people are overlooking what Jesus christ teaches in His Gospel as pertaining to the law and how it is to be observed under grace, instead taking words of Paul to specific congregations with specific problems not relating to this.

Because we are invited to learn directly from Him, Jesus, by Jesus, why do people burden themselves so with the past problems of certain assemblies, and do not heed Christ's teaching?

Learning from Jesus, and following His Example are teh only ways to be in Jesus Christ. Paul teaches the same, one Gospel.

Yes. Working at the 10 commandments was a mere shadow of what we have, RIGHT NOW in Christ.

Let me answer you in order so you may take some time to understand what is being said. Yes right now you may have peace for your soul if you put trust in the Messiah. Now what is trust? Is there evidence of this trust? Yes to believe that Messiah has died and risen from the dead and seated on the right hand of the Father while He, (the Father) makes all enemies a footstool.

Hebrews 7:16-19
16 Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.
17 For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
18 For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.
19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.

Okay so what do you see? I see a restoration of what was the promise from the beginning, and a better hope. Now what Messiah has made known is the will of the Father. That no man may be lost forever but inherit eternal life through the son. If you want to follow the tradition of men who nullify the commands by their traditions follow Christian grace, Jewish faith, or humanist peace and security. If you want to follow Messiah pick up the cross, "instruction, Torah" and follow Yahshua Messiah. The reason for the "salvation by faith and not by the Torah." is because of the truth of it. I think you're hung up on this because you can't grasp a genuine persons walk with Messiah with instruction of the Father. What have you quoted?
"but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto GOD."

Ephesians 2:13-16

13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

What is separating us from Salvation and our Rest in Christ Jesus? Only Faith. Faith that the Lord has done, is doing and will continue to do what He has Said He Will.

This again restates the truth of the cross and why we are to put our faith in Messiah.

4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.
6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)
7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
Why do you wonder? Why do you pretend to know peace? I think you quote scripture about not being ashamed because you have still not put all trust in Yeshiva Messiah. Standing even on the fire lane painted red with the blood of Messiah saying no standing fire lane. You could look across the street to find open fields and freedom but there they have removed the ancient boundary stones and replaced the sign of your salvation with a stop sign. You who have been rebellious against Messiah are offending the Father. What does He want? I could say what is a person's reasonable sacrifice after coming to the knowledge of his absolute redemption to come and help now? To obey. The reason Im not upset with you guys and your mantra, "by grace through faith" is because grace is favor and obtaining favor is through obedience to the Father. Faith not being of the law is through hearing of the redeemer himself Messiah Yeshua and how through his work we are brought close and given a new way, love. This is the truth and this is rest. So much talk about rest but which one of us receives any?

Hi JaumeJ,

Good points. I think it is because people a teaching a counterfeit Gospel that is not really the Gospel of Jesus as well. This counterfeit Gospel always tries to do away with God's Law and always says all you have to do is believe in Jesus, believe in Jesus. While this is partially true it does not tell the full story so is a counterfeit Gospel because the devils believe and they are not saved right (James 2:9)?

The counterfeit Gospel is a Gospel that does not include God's Law (10 Commandments). Why is this so? Because it is only through the Law of God (10 commandments) that any of us have a knowledge of what sin is (1John 3:4; Rom 3:20;24). If we do away with God's Law we have no knowledge of sin. If we have no knowledge of sin we have no need of a savior. If we have no need of a savior we have no salvation. If we have no salvation we are lost. "For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law." (Rom 2:12).

God's Law shows us that we are sinners in need of a savior. God's Law was given to us that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God (Rom 3:19). It shows us that we are sinners and cannot save ourselves from this disease that we have within us so that we can by Faith lay hold of the promises of God's Words so that Jesus can save us from our sins. Jesus did not come to save the righteous (those that think they do not need saving) but sinners (those that know their need of saving) (Matt 9:12-13; Mark 2:17; Luke 5:32) God's Law has always been part of the true Gospel of Christ. The counterfeit Gospel does not have it.

God bless you all. Yo him who loved us and washed us in His own Blood be the power and glory forever and ever Amen.

12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.

3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

Do you think these verses don't apply anymore because they were written so long ago? There is nothing new under the sun. The same mistakes all those people were making so long ago are basically the same mistakes legalists and judaizers make today.

Do you think it is just pride that fools the legalists and judaizers into thinking their work at the law is superior to faith in Christ? Or is it simple un-belief?

Hi GandalfTheWhite, Good points... I think not all want to come to the light. But the light is always shining to guide us back to Jesus for those that want to follow him. Not everyone loves and reads God's Word. People are complacent to follow other peoples interpretation of it and do not realize that part of the New covenant is that God wants to know us personally and be our teacher. We must follow him if we love him.

God bless you brother, good night (my time)
The Sabbaths are not moral laws, as shadows they govern the ceremonies that were used preach the suffering of Christ ibeforehand and the glory that did follow.(the graves were opened the first ressurection) The time of reformation had come over two thousand years ago some are still waiting.

The word Sabbaths plural is a not time sensitive word. Any time we do hear his voice and not harden our hearts we have entered that rest from our own works .Most of the paraphrases added a time sensitive word to replace the word rest using the word “week”, singular.

The Jew sought after signs they made the gospel without effect . There is no work we could do outwardly that would give us the assurance we have Christ in us.We walk by faith

In its original autograph the word of God introduces the new era of Sabbaths… Not week a time sensitive word

1 And on theeve of the sabbaths, at the dawn, toward the first of the sabbaths, came Mary the Magdalene, and the other Mary, to see the sepulchre

It is so very important to read all of the context of what is being taught in the Word.

When Jesus invites all to come to Him for rest, He is inviting all to learn of Him because
the hypocrites weigh heavy burdens on others, burdens they would not lift a finger to
carry themselves.

Read on in the quote, read on before the quote also.

Mat 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Mat 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
Mat 11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Exodus 16:29
See, for that the Lord hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.

Matthew 12:8
For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.

John 14:15
If ye love me, keep my commandments.

John 8:51
Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.

Matthew 5:19
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
How long will this generation not hear the Apostle John. This man walked with Jesus Christ. This man heard the voice of our Lord teach. This man saw Jesus be killed and saw Him resurrected, but this generation does not hear Him, nor will this generation hearken to his voice.

Every single verse in the New Testament, which teaches "Keep My Commandments" comes from The Apostle John. And the Apostle John plainly tells us what His Commandments are. This generation teaches His commandments are the "10 Commandments" Believe it not. The Apostle John plainly and clearly tells us what His Commandments are, but this generation has ears but can't hear his words, because the Truth of Jesus is not in them.

1Jn 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. And this is his commandment, That we should 1) believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and 2) love one another, as he gave us commandment. And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

Woe to this generation who can't grasp the simplicity in these three verses, and the meaning thereof slips their understanding. What are HIS Commandments? 1) Believe on Jesus AND 2) Love One Another. Do those two things and you fulfill the whole LAW. Do those two things and you ARE KEEPING HIS COMMANDMENTS. Woe to those who teach things contrary to what the Apostle John plainly told us was His Commandments. Believe the Word of God, not when others try to teach you.

WHO dwells in Jesus Christ according to the above inspired by God verses, given to us directly from Apostle John? Those who are keeping His Commandments. Woe unto those who are NOT Loving one another and take thought they are still dwelling in Jesus Christ. Those who dwell in Jesus Christ are they that DO Love One another. God is Love. Those who are not Loving one another do not have God in them, nor does He dwell in those, no matter how much that person thinks they are dwelling in Jesus Christ, they are NOT, if they are not Loving One Another. You will know those who dwell in Christ by the many fruits they will have toward others, they will be Loving much, even as Christ Loves much. But who to them who think Christ is in them but these have no fruits of Loving one another in them, there will be much weeping and gnashing of teeth, on the Day of the Lord, when they realize they are not taken up with Him, because they were NOT keeping His commandments, which is to 1) Believe on Jesus AND Love one another. Believe on Jesus (FAITH) AND Love One Another (WORKS) Woe to this generation indeed. Not saying or implying anyone on CC is of this sort.

Our opinions do not matter in relation to God's Word. It is only God's Word that is the truth. We must follow the Word of God over out own opinions. Sunday Worship is a man made tradition that has no basis in God's Word. We either follow God because we love him or follow man made traditions of the teachings of man in place of God. Do you love Jesus garee?

God bless you

Hello Grandpa, you know I love all the Words of God you quoted right? They are in harmony with everything I believe and have been sharing with you. Your eyes have been closed because the scriptures that have been shared with you go against your interpretation of God's Word. I believe I only have salvation by faith in the wonderful promises of God's Word because I am a sinner and Jesus saves me from my sin. If I love Jesus and by faith do what he asks me to do you accuse me and others of being under the works of the Law? Jesus tells me if I love him I must follow him. (John 14:15). You are not fighting against anyone here my friend. Your fighting against God's Word because it conflicts with your interpretation of it. Do you love Jesus Grandpa?

May God help you my friend.
