There is naturally the language of romantic love and tenderness almost all woman expect a man to show her as well as demonstrations of practical/emotional support.(ranging from buying her,her favourite coffee.to.whatever she desires and makes her happy and for filled).
Remember that not all women may desire the same things!!mary might love flowers everyday...but Susan doesn't..she wants a romantic love note left on the coffee table....Your gonna have to discover what the woman IN your LIFE WANTS/NEEDS.

women love men to be able to communicate their emotions and be able to handle theirs too..!
many women want a man to say he loves them not just saying ,"you know I do!"
Many women can be bowled over by the most simplest things at times..yet within that there is so much power
ie...complementing them on how they look when they go shopping to buy a dress and showing genuine interest in what may go with it..bag...shoes...earrings....make up..ect


remember a woman heart is like a flower..get it right and it will truly blossom..get it totally wrong..it can close/shutdown...and will make sometime to open again?Once a woman opens her heart to you..she's expecting you to be trustworthy and most woman have experienced both the opening up to a man who she trusted..to experiencing the trauma and pain of a broken heart and having the very heart she opened up damaged....hence it closes down and has to open up once again to the same gender that caused it pain!!


Also a man who spends time praying for his wife (this is a calling on his life)..he will be blessed because a man can do All that he can..yet at times he may fail (not intentionally though).God knows everything about the woman in his life (from her childhood to adulthood).And is willing to teach him HOW to serve his wife unto him.

learn from other men about things and never be afraid to trust god.

Actually... a guy who cooked for me would definitely have me a little starry-eyed. :)

Also...

* Good manners (to everyone, not just certain people.)
* Good listener, but someone who shares everything on his mind as well.
* Compassionate, but knows when to put his foot down when needed (is understanding but doesn't enable people, including me.)
* Responsible and keeps his word.
* Great sense of humor.

And on a more serious note, loyalty and faithfulness (which I definitely know is required by both people in the relationship.)

But *please* don't tell me that you need me or love me and then go download visuals of naked women. You'll utterly crush my heart. ("Don't break this heart of mine... Just remember: it might not heal this time." -- Toto).

I've had lots of guy friends who struggle with this and I'm more than happy to listen and pray for them as friends, but on a personal level, it's not something I could ever put up with again in another relationship. I don't expect perfection, but if it's a regular, obsessive habit or addiction, I would have to say no to anything more than a friendship.

In fact, this is a major reason why I've been single for so long. I'd rather be alone than have to deal with all that.

It would be nice to find someone who could accept that I'm real--with all the flaws that come with it--and not a fantasy.

I'm afraid sometimes a guy liking a female isn't enough.It takes effort to make it work and as the bible says we should put the other persons interests above our own and visa versa.Sometimes guys can miss it because they may not be at that place to be receptive enough of you want/need.

I can say I like chicken and wanna eat some for dinner....I buy the chicken..great...(equivalent of a guy getting the girl he desires)
..but the chicken has to be worked on....cooked slowly to make it edible..(soft..tender and-delicious)
Its the same thing a guy has to do (metaphor of da chicken analogy)..he has to make the effort to make the relationship dynamic work and over time you heart becomes tender (softened and loving)..

Yet it is always a two way thing and the key is communication ( being able to communicate with gods help verbal/non verbal)
..never the easiest of tasks!!

This thread was supposed to be for women to answer!

Anyway, what attracts me to a man is probably his determination and discipline in life. I like men who work out, who are ambitious, independent, well read and love to travel.

A man would warm my heart if he is interested in my life and wants to know my opinions. If he motivates me to push myself and gives me the space to grow, then I would think he would make a good life partner.

I am also not into guys who would smother me or get insecure around me. Actions speak louder than words for me.

They are looking for a guy who will place the new roll of TP on the actual dispenser instead of on top of it...or on the edge of the sink.
