SURVEY FOR NON PARTICPANTS IN THE TIRESOME BDF

lately, I have pretty much become a non-participant in the BDF as it has become the tool of those who desire a teaching platform without the wherewithal to hog the pulpit in a real church building

no matter the subject of the actual op, instructions on how to do whatever from a supposedly biblical perspective, are forthwith inserted and with a dogmatic 'I am the expert here' the rogue posts are peppered throughout until normal people are exhausted with the tirade and leave or try to answer and are promptly and smartly smacked sideways by a person who obviously has way too much time on their holy hands

'we', whoever that may be at any given time, are always and endlessly wrong, as one person in particular goose walks all over the threads, starts threads and bestows upon us the wisdom of the ages, collected no doubt, from the many youtube videos inserted for those who think a picture is worth a thousand words and are more easily entertained by shock value youtube facts, than an actual study on the subject at hand (which, you may remember, seldom bears resemblance to the op)

It's kind of a reality check for me. It helps me understand the vast disarray of pure distortion that exists in the world concerning many other areas of thought also.

I worked in our State's largest mental hospital for 6 years in my youth, and the BDF is a good refresher course on remembering that most of us are nuts in some way or another, and to try not to take things too seriously.

As hard as it is to believe, considering the lashing my tongue often does... I consistently pray when I turn on my computer, and occasionally follow up with intermittent prayer as I puzzle over my replies.

and I am honestly sometimes amazed at how the mind of some works...or not as the case may be

I am also convinced there are some that honestly have mental blocks and do their best but just cannot get past something

This poll was hilarious!! Thanks for a bit of humor after a very long week.

I would have voted for the "send them to a small island only populated by penguins", but I'm concerned about the well-being of the penguins.

I might not be PETA, but I'm still pretty sure that would be considered cruel and unusual punishment (for the penguins, of course.)

1. Who are the "normal people?"
2. Who gets the money from the fines, because this could be a wealth stream right there.
