SURVEY FOR NON PARTICPANTS IN THE TIRESOME BDF

Just for fun I would like to:

  • hit them over the head with the biggest Bible available

  • limit their posts to possibly 1 a day

  • send them to a small island populated only by penguins

  • give them an auditorium with 5000 people who hiss and boo at them

If I may say so...

To me, the big difference between the regular BDF'ers (oh my goodness, that term even SOUNDS like a bad word! LOL!!) who are posting in this thread and the ones to whom this poll is referring to is humility and a willingness to be taught themselves.

We all have strong beliefs and opinions--maybe that's why we all come to a chat site in the first place--so we can share our wealth of knowledge with others!!! :cool::rolleyes::p

But what I believe sets apart the people posting in this thread from the really hateful ones is that I have also seen these same people apologize to others in the forums and even make jokes at their own expense. And this is just a part of what makes me interested in what they have to say, no matter what the context is.

To me, that's something you never see a "lethal BDF'er" do:

They NEVER say they're sorry.

... And I often wonder if the only crack they'll ever have is the one they sit on, because I most certainly couldn't ever picture them cracking a smile. :rolleyes:

Though I find the BDF to be as caring and lovely as a nuclear wasteland drenched with poison especially with a certain...thing...I don't know if I can even call it a thread, because a 'thread' would have coherent and sensible discussion...that spawned there recently. Nah mate, it's fine! But really, that...thing....really needs its reign over the BDF to be ended ASAP (I'm sure you know which...thread(?) I'm referring to...).

I just hope that they like memes...

A couple other thoughts about sending all the Lethal BDF'ers to an island inhabited only by penguins...

* They'd tell all the penguins they must submit to authority... as they waddle around on the flat, stationary earth, with their flat, little feet. :(

* NONE of the female penguins would be allowed to speak... or even so much as make a noise. :(

Can't we send the BDF'ers to another set of creatures that actually DESERVES to be punished...

(You know, like people who talk and text while they're using public toilets...) :D

Another CC'er calls the BDF the "Bicker and Debate Forum", which seems pretty fitting. :)

I don't think most churches allow just anybody to take the pulpit on Sunday mornings, so a forum such as this is a good place to share with others what the Lord has been teaching us. The Lord doesn't just teach pastors, and for that matter, a lot of pastors don't have a clue what's going on.
