I really like iced tea too in addition to my like of coffee. It's got to be made really, really strong though. Dark. Full flavored. No "kidney cleaner" weaksauce iced tea for me.
I'm not a strong coffee person, but I do like iced coffee waaay stronger than you can normally buy it. Coffee shop stuff tends to be better, or make it yourself.

I have a huge coffee problem for sure, you know those 44 oz cups you get at seven eleven or circle k? I can easily drink three of those a day but i only tend to drink them in moderation as much as I can normally 1 and the half and the other half is for the morning. But I make it a certain way I am very picky about my coffee, I have to have a lot of creamer in it but not just one kind I need some hazelnut and some vanilla creamer about 6 packets or more of splenda and then i put ice in it because my tongue cannot handle hot coffee believe me I have tried.

Also if there ever was the devil in coffee form it's starbucks, I tried it for the first time when I went to see Stephanie in Arizona and ever since... well I'm sure you can figure it out lol
I agree with you about Starbucks. They make a mean brew. Circle K and 7/Eleven coffee is good also but in my area the main convenience store chain is WaWa's so that's what I imbibe when I'm so inclined to do so. Actually, my coffee consumption has been cut way down the last couple years, probably less than 16 oz currently. I've been giving considerable thought about cutting down on smoking and eventually eliminating it all together. Of course for me, drinking coffee and smoking go hand-to-hand. If I can get rid of the smokes I might switch to tea, add a little honey and a dash of lemon. I'm thinking orange pekoe from Lipton. Probably get some of those sissy looking tea cups to drink it from. Gonna skip the saucer for the cup. As being a guy I do have my pride after all.

I like hot tea but don't drink it very often. I like the herbal fruit teas. :)

So this thread is actually about coffee.... I hoped it would become more of a conversation-while-sipping-coffee thread..

Here's a weird, random thought. Coffee has been America's de facto national drink since 1773.

But for most of the time, we've preferred this odd, watered down form of it.

I'm soooo happy I started drinking it when we've caught up with the Europeans.
