I may chime in occasionally to criticize the globe or discuss flat earth, but I will not field questions and satisfy demands of people who look at cartoons and believe they are real, and refuse to question whether occultists could be lying to them. There is much work you all need to do on yourselves to understand the society and physical world you live in, and I won't be able to get through to you.
I have not been posting lately for three reasons. The above quoted expression of futility-of-effort is one of them. Another is seeing you post that Flat Earth map with the erroneous 'orbit' paths. That was very disappointing. The 'Tropic' circles have been well established as the "extent limits" of the sun's travel ( being "overhead" ) - albeit, by "modern science"; however, it is one of those things that seems reasonable to be accepted at face value at least until it is proven to be in error. ( And, of course, anyone who is in a position to prove such is more than welcome to try... ) The other reason - the most important and significant reason of all three - is "real life" related and will not be elaborated upon in this post.
Dino's question is perfectly valid and simple to understand. The fact that he asks it does not change the nature of truth. And, if you are one ( as I am ) to want to know the truth above all else -- well, knowing the correct answer ( what is true ) is the most important thing that can come out of it. In as much as I understand the true nature of things, I do not have a Flat Earth answer to his question. Based on what I
do know and understand at this point, I would say that it is 100% correct that the sun never travels south of the Tropic of Capricorn. And, I would
never 'tweak' a Flat Earth map in a way that would 'falsify' it - as you have done ( seemingly deliberately, but understandably - possibly - out of ignorance ) - to try to 'undercut' Sydney as if to illustrate that a 'southern' sun in Sydney was within the sun's 'orbit' path in the Flat Earth model.
Be man enough to say:
"I do not have an answer for that."
We both know that - if we should happen to not know the answer to a particular question regarding 'Flat Earth' -- it
does not mean that 'Flat Earth' is not true; we do not ( I do not, at least ) claim to know everything there is to know about 'Flat Earth' - we are all still learning. It does not 'undo' - or "do away with" - the general 'consensus' that we have based on
many 'proofs' that Ball Earth is a lie.
One unanswered question does
not constitiute a "deal breaker" (
It is, in fact, an incentive to learn even more... ); however,
dishonesty can totally destroy a reputation or a relationship.
And, if things truly are what they seem -- you have put a serious 'mark' on your reputation, and a serious 'dent' in our relationship - as far as I am concerned.
Others may not [ yet ] understand why we believe something -- but -- we should
always be completely honest in our discourse - in as much as we are capable of understanding and doing - to try to help them to understand.
If you do not know enough about something -
"keep your mouth shut" -- otherwise, it only makes you look 'stupid' - and, doesn't exactly help 'Flat Earth' any...
Please do not ever do that again.
Don't side-step. Don't back-pedal.
Just tell dino you don't know the answer, but you will look into it...
If you would like an example to follow -- here it is:
dino:
I do not know the answer to the 'quandry' you pose. I may not understand the 'workings' of 'Flat Earth' as much as I would like. I will have to look into it. However, I will not necessarly accept the 'evidence' you offer at face value [ at least ] until I have had an opportunity to research it further. If you can dig up more [ 'provable' ] south-sun photos -- that would be great!
pckts:
See? That wasn't so bad - now, was it?
(
Now - you try it... )
The search for truth
must always come first -- 'honesty' and 'integrity' are
essential. Lying, in any form, is unacceptable.
