There seems to be a misunderstanding that Jesus is fully God AND fully man.
Exactly how the Most High God was able to pour Himself into a human being I don't know.
The confusion lies in the passages where the fully human aspect of Jesus refers to His Father, and His God.
The Pharisees CERTAINLY understood His claim to be God. "Before Abraham was I AM". This was why they immediately, in a rage, tried to hill Him, BECAUSE He claimed to be God.
Many cults fall on the stumbling block of not confessing Jesus as God. Either He is, or He isn't.
Deut 18:19
19 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.
John 5:43
43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.
John 8:49
9 Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me.
God is a Spirit, the Word is a Spirit. I AM that I AM. "And
God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the LORD:" Ex 6:2
And Jesus, which is called Justus, who are of the circumcision. These only are my fellowworkers unto the kingdom of God, which have been a comfort unto me. Col 4:11
