Only one that matters. The rest of them are window dressing.
Unfortunately, it's sad to see how some people skew this. Some of the examples I've seen are:
* The girl who's "kinda sorta" seeing this guy... They spend time together and sometimes kiss and act like a couple but they're not "officially" dating, so... Whenever she goes to a social event, she lets all the guys she's interested in know that she's "single" and available.
* The guy who believes the only sexual sin covered in the Bible is adultery. Therefore, if he's not married, but sleeps with married women, THEY might be sinning, but he isn't, because he's "single."
* The people who spend all their free time with a special person they met online and their hearts are definitely invested, but... for any other given purpose, whether a social event in real life, or an opportunity to chat with someone else online who sounds interesting, they insist they're "single"--and supposedly rightly available, even though this other person obviously has a serious piece of their heart.
I'm not saying any of this in condemnation (though of course I don't agree with many of these perspectives), but rather, just a few things I've observed in the shark tank of dating.
As I wrote in the other poll, I think one of the biggest challenges now days is trying to figure out if someone REALLY IS "single" and available (which includes emotionally, if, for example, the person is vested in an online relationship.)

I don't quite understand how this is a response to me. I did not make any of those assertions.
Oh no, I think I might be in a relationship with a fake profile on twitter. Oh well, better than a real person.
I'm going on an 8-year relationship with my laptop (it's pretty serious), and sometimes I think the same thing.
It's supposedly one particular brand... But sometimes I think it's a wanna-be Dell... but just doesn't want to tell me the truth.
(Maybe it's afraid of losing me.)
I wish I had more to hold on to than my Galaxy smartphone.
8 years..... I've never had a computer last that long.
I had a friend a long time ago who built computers and he made everything interchangeable, so that puppy lasted me like 15 years. I just kept paying him to do upgrades, and it was for a fraction of the cost of a new system. Ah, those were the good old days.
As for wishing you had more to hold on to than a phone...
I've gotten to a point where my sleeping area has so many pillows, blankets, and covers going on, it's a good thing I'm not married--in the middle of all that fluffy comfort, I'm not quite sure where, exactly, I'd find room for a husband.
I just learned they make weighted blankets.
I can't give him reps.
Somebody else should.
I used to shop at a place that sold head-to-toe long body pillows.
The sales person said they're marketed specifically for pregnant women.
I dunno, man. It just seemed a little creepy to me. I guess I haven't hit the point yet where I want a human-size body pillow as a substitute for an actual human.
But I suppose it would only be creepy if I actually gave the pillow a name (like "George") and drew a face on one end.
Not that I've ever contemplated doing that or anything.![]()

Sounds like a commitment issue to me.
They probably make a pillow case for it that has Channing Tatum on it.
I just haven't found the right processor.
