...you would know Heavenly Father and know that His Son teaches us to keep even the least Commandment...
actually, by his very actions God teaches us to set aside large parts of the law

yet Torah is a single unit,

you keep it all,
or you keep it not at all.

If you read the Gospel how Jesus Christ teaches the law, I think you will find, according to what He has fulfilled, the law has been taught in the way of mercy, justice and faith, that is according to Jesus Christ.

Yes, that was part of the law.....keep it all, but Jesus has clarified it. I am afraid many who say Lord, Lord, to Him are not hearing Him.

If they did, obedience would not be someting of a question or anything to fear, but as long as those who claim to understand the law think that we should stone offenders to death, they will never understand the mercy they claim to be enjoying.

Believe Jesus christ is the Son of God and you are saved. Believing is doing as He teaches and learning what He teches..

I beg to differ.... The Messiah teaches us the Great Commandment and the second like it... If you truly keep the Great and the second like it you will keep the 10 Commandments...

We are commanded to be more righteous.. times of old it was do not commit adultery.. now the Messiah teaches that if you lust within you then you are guilty before the act.

You are not to set aside the 10 Commandments.. no.. you are to keep them in love with your liberty.

The law of Moses could not clean and circumcise inwardly.. no that comes through Faith in our Lord and Saviour allowing for a circumcised heart and a new inward which will be demonstrated outwardly.. for nothing is hidden before GOD.

Many were deceiving people outwardly... but GOD knew their inwards and was not fooled.

The Messiah called them out when they took to stone the lady accused of adultery... and many times over...

They made an appearance to obtain high esteem of men... GOD is fair and just and these were not.

If you consider that the Old Testament was given to bring the New Testament you can see why it was Fulfilled by Our Messiah.. He becomes the High priest and can go in to the Holiest.

By His own blood he makes us clean inwardly... we do not need to use blood of animals like past times.. or circumcise outwards... because we have the New Covenant and live by Faith.

A New Covenant with the same 10 Commandments through Faith and Love... love is a verb.

exactly!

Jesus taught to keep the law, just not the way it's written!

like here
MATTHEW 12:4 how he entered into God’s house, and ate the show bread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for those who were with him, but only for the priests?

and by implication, David's lie doesn't break the law here
1 SAMUEL 21:2 David said to Ahimelech the priest, “The king has commanded me a business, and has said to me, ‘Let no man know anything of the business about which I send you, and what I have commanded you; and I have appointed the young men to such and such a place.’

God's actions like

God allowed the temple to be destroyed and not rebuilt,

so anything to do with the temple is out.

God allowed the genealogy records to be destroyed, so no one knows who's a levite,

and God doesn't answer by Urim and Thummim, so we can't find out that way

NEHEMIAH 7:65 The governor said to them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, until there stood up a priest with Urim and Thummim.

he's not doing his part in supporting the law

by his very actions, He teaches us to set aside large parts of the law.

reading what Jesus says to the Pharisees, how they sit on Moses seat yet the miss the important points of teh law, you will find the law is completely still valid, but keep in mind the majority have been fulfilled by Jesus Christ or annulled by those three points the legalizts overlooked, faith, mercy and justice...... Just as He applied the law, always with faith, justicce and mercy.

You are obviously not hearing GOD either when HE gave the 10 Commandments personally and ''added no more'' Deut 5v22. As people REFUSED to hear Him then so they do today v25, 27.

Which of the Commandments do you think JESUS was referring to when He said He kept His Fathers Commandments ?

Read the Messiah's Testimony if He does not teach to Keep the Commandments then why are those that do called saints?

You have yet to believe and not received the Holy Spirit Baptism.

Why not seek GOD with your heart and not your head?

Ask GOD what the New Covenant is.... do not take my word for it... seek and you will find thanks to our Gracious and Merciful Father of lights.

may you receive in the Messiah's name my dear.

Beta,

were you referring to maybe this one?
Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first Commandment with promise;) -
or maybe it was one of the several 'others' that Jesus Christ PERSONALLY TOLD us to KEEP.)

folks, it's all there in the OT-NT, just waiting for you to read and understand with an 'open-heart', -
of course you have to be led by The Holy Spirit...or else, that 'old-serpent' will never stop trying to
'implant' his never ending 'counterfeits'...

It's all with spiritual understanding. Even the 4th commandment. Paul even said that the law was spiritual. I accept, or observe (whatever the preference) the Sabbath in Spirit. It's a time for connection with Christ and contemplation for me.

This sounds to me like legitimizing worhipping God with the lips and not by good works.
Anyone cansayfaith, but few do what6 it takes to truly be of the faith.....

"This people honor Me with their lips but their heart is far from me.........."

Is the Sabbath not primarily a time to worship and have fellowship with the Father and the Son and receiving instruction from them ? and by all means also do good works if called upon to do so. What else would you suggest ?

As you can see from my post I made ref to the 10 given by GOD personally at Ex 20 and Deut 5 and Jesus referred to in HIS teaching by Word and Deed...being our living walking example.

None of what you post has to do with your quote of me.

However, what you post sounds more like guidlenes for law in stone rather than law in the heart.

We, as people who belive Jesus Christ, Yeshua, as teh Son of God practice much, or even all of what you have cited in your post 24/7 as our new person's spirit leads us. Not as individual willfulness, rather as will to do as the Father would have us do.

So, what you post is 100¨% correct for the Sabbath, and also for the other six days, however because the Father has instructed us to do so, if and where possible, we do it all with Him on His Sabbath and we rest from our other labors...

You know that we can and do labor on the Sabbath if it is a good work, so ging into this more is redundant.

Is the Sabbath not primarily a time to worship and have fellowship with the Father and the Son and receiving instruction from them ? and by all means also do good works if called upon to do so. What else would you suggest ?

LoveGodForever offered… Lets talk about your Hebrews 4 again shall we?

What day then can we enter it some might ask if Saturday is not the day?
That is a rhetorical question. The scriptures make it clear as to the purpose of the fast and what kind of work we can do seeing that day we do not have any servile work to perform like bringing the gospel into the world as the kind of fast that does each God on high.

It does not read as some would offer like the examples below

HEB 4 KJ 1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. Those who look at the word rest as if it was a time sensitive word .therfore taking away the meaning of the word

HEB 4 in respect to the tose who change the meaning of the word Sabbath ..

1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest on Saturday unless any of you should seem to come short of it.

It’s short of the eternal rest not short of the week or any day of it.

Chapter four would be a great place to start

I believe we are informed in Deuteronomy not to add meanings to a word (single) it can diminish from it (single) by taking away the intended purpose. This is different than the warning at the end of the Bible where we are not to add or subtract from the whole perfect book as if God was still brining new revelations.

We are to divide comparing the spiritual understanding to the spiritual or faith (not seen) to the same unseen faith and not add or subtract when we do seek His approval

Deu 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

I would suggest the word Sabbath is not a time sensitive word, it means rest with no other meaning added. It does not mean Saturday or the last day of the week a time sensitive phrase in which it is translated wrongly in many paraphrases. I would think it is one of the main cause of confusion. Using a literal translation that does not try and convert a rest word into a time sensitive words gives us the proper understand for the right flow when dividing the word of God it removes the idea that we cold put the rest we do have into a Saturday box.

Mat 28:1 In the end of the Sabbath (Plural) , as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week,( Sabbaths plural) came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.

A more adequate translation …In the end of the Sabbaths (plural) , as it began to dawn toward the new eras of Sabbaths (plural ) came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.

Show how you turn that non time sensitive word (Rest) into Saturday or any day other than "today" if we hear his voice and not harden our hearts knowing we have already entered that rest... again not entered Saturday as if rest meant Saturday.

Faith without works is dead being alone. Faith comes first before works otherwise works are in vain. If we follow Jesus Christ by faith, (for real) it is obvious that works will follow. God works become part of us by faith. "Do we then make void the (Sabbath) law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the (Sabbath) law." (Romans 3:31 KJV) Why do you argue by assumption?
