I guess some need of course of History. The Catholic Church was on the Eastern side of Galilee, those who attended the church, we're Pagans and Christians. Christ divided the Catholic Church of the east, as Pagans left the church of the east and went to the western side of Galilee and built a church on the western side, the church of West we're Pagans. Paganism was the belief of Rome, the church then added the name Roman, the church became known as the Roman Catholic church, it became the belief system of Rome, the ones who remained in the east were Christians, the ones in the west, were Pagans. As both churches of the east and west have a lot in common but yet their over all beliefs are different. Over time both churches have made many changes, as the east accepted some of the belief of the west, just as the west has accepted some of the belief of the east, as it is difficult sometimes to tell them a part.
