Since we're learning so many personal things about one another...this is something that would be nice to know via ones avatar info without having to click on profile. I hardly meet anyone from Ohio...

I'm from a small town in Ohio. That's where I am now. I've lived in Texas and Colorado. Thinking of moving again. Might be Florida. I love the ocean and I'm ready to miss winter for awhile.

I live in the Philippines and have been fantasizing about living in Hokkaido, Japan. Also in Tuscany and other places in Italy and whole Europe.

I live in Boone, Iowa. I've lived in a bunch of different places. I want to live someplace else one day. The Midwest doesn't "fit" me.

I live in Missouri. It has its own beauty, but I hate the humid, hot summers. I've also lived in South Dakota (LOVED it) and Illinois (corn fields and more corn fields), and I've traveled many other places outside of that.

It's on my bucket list to live next to mountains, so I imagine out west is where I'll be headed in the future. :) I suppose I could live next to mountains in a different country, but somewhere in the US seems most reasonable right now. I love to travel, though.

Live in Florida now. My dream life would be Florida in the winter and Colorado in the summer.

I live in Florida, 7 miles from the beach. All I want to do is close that gap, and maybe live right on the beach.

I live in south-central Saskatchewan. I'm presently visiting the west coast, near where I grew up. I'd love to live out here again. I wouldn't miss the winters!

Hey Lighthearted, great question. :)

I grew up in the North(ern United States), but have been living in the West. Everyone comes out here for the winters, but I hope to be the opposite someday. I would like to go back to the North during mid-fall to mid-winter because I miss the change of seasons (especially the turning of the leaves), and yes, gasp, the snow. That actually explains me perfectly--I tend to be backwards from a lot of other people! :p

What I'd really like to do is live a kind of gypsy existence: I'd like to have a home base to store my things but travel around to one place or another, live there a couple weeks or month, then move on, and come home for however many months before I took off again.

I have a couple friends in various parts of the USA who are always like, "Sure, come on over. Just help clean up and chip in for groceries, and you can stay as long as you want." Someday, I hope to take them up on their offers.

I also hope to find friends I could travel with internationally (wouldn't it be amazing to live in another country, like Italy or Australia, for a month or two at a time?!) At heart, I am a homebody who has cravings for big adventures every now and then.

When I was "young", I dreamed of meeting the "right person" because I had hoped we'd go off and have amazing adventures together... I thought singleness meant I'd have to give up my dreams, but now I'm adjusting to the thought of still living them out, but just in a different way and hopefully, with a group of other like-minded single friends.

I am currently in Finland studying, I really don't have any place specific that I would want to be rather in my home country Tanzania. However, I have been thinking about some European countries just to make use of the Schengen visa.

I have lived in southwest Tennessee and northeast Tennessee. Northeast has mountains but southwest has the people. Folks are just more friendly down here. As a minister I'll go wherever God says go, but I sure hope God doesn't say go anywhere. All my family and church family are here.

It's on my bucket list to live next to mountains, so I imagine out west is where I'll be headed in the future. :) I suppose I could live next to mountains in a different country, but somewhere in the US seems most reasonable right now. I love to travel, though.
I recommend Johnson City, Tennessee. Nice city, not too big, not too small, lots of farms in the surrounding countryside to provide good fresh food, and a mountain range in the background. Or if you prefer living in a small town, there's lots of small towns around there and you got your mountains.

I live in Florida and while I love to visit other states and countries, I would rather continue to call the Sunshine State my home.

I have lived in Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, and Tennessee...they were all fine but I have never found "home"

Not sure if I will find "home" while on earth as we are visitors here according to scripture and not supposed to be of this world but I often felt strongly it has more to do with my belief that "home" is wherever a shared life is. I have a wonderful life filled with blessings and an incredible son but the shared intimacy with a mate has been elusive. I have made peace with the fact I may not find that and honestly am content but still have not found "home." Therefore in my long winded way...I would live almost anywhere to find it.

Must be feeling nostalgic today lol

Currently: Southern California (L.A county).

I would like to live anywhere but here (I have my eyes on Salem and Lincoln City, Oregon).
