What are your personal thoughts on this topic, why is this important to you and why do you feel the need to start this thread. In other words, why would I want to spend some of my precious time watching yet another video from you without you explaining the purpose of the video and why you feel it should be watched. If I watched it and wrote a post about my impressions would you respond with words of your own or just offer another video for my viewing amusement?

TY, for sharing one of satan's most powerful and common ways of separating 'God's Reality' -
using satan's 'man-made-workings of the carnal-world's from His Holyness...

Tourist,

your response is seemingly out of order to your usual understanding of how this wicked world works...
just a little surprised by your response...:rolleyes:we thought that many already actually KNOW what the

I really don't watch much television. Actually, I believe that the average amount of time spent by the average American watching TV has been on a steady decline for several years due to the internet and other forms of entertainment. I once went 5 years without turning on my television set. Can't say that I really missed anything.

I do most certainly agree that this is indeed a wicked world and that a lot of the garbage shown on television has contributed to the moral declined. There is also a lot of garbage on the internet that is contributing to the moral decay. What I really wanted from my post is for the OP to show his human side by actively engaging with the CC community rather than simply post one video after another without even a comment on what he personally feels about what he's posting. Indeed, TV can indeed by a boob tube that has the potential to pollute one's mind. :)

It Doesn't Matter What I Think!!!

If I serve a beautifully grilled prime rib, with baked potato, sour cream, chives, a nice garden salad with bleu cheese dressing and garlic croutons to someone...

Does it really matter to that person if I tell them that the prime rib was grass fed, the potatoes came from Idaho, the sour cream comes from a dairy in VT, and the garden salad was harvested from my own personal organic garden?

Why not let them enjoy the meal? Why debate over the place setting? Whether or not I serve the meal on fine china or on a paper plate, whether or not I give them silverware or plastic utensils?

The meal is meant to be enjoyed. The meal is it's own nutrition. My speech or interaction does nothing to add to the flavor or nutrition of the meal.

The meal is knowledge. The meal is a warning.

All I am is a voice in the wilderness. A simple sign bearer holding up a sign that says, "Danger: Road Work Ahead", what more needs to be said?

Proceed with caution because there are pot-holes, and you could damage a tire or axle, and maybe the shock of hitting a bump might set off your air-bag, and might make you spill your McDonald's hot coffee all over yourself, and you may or may not drop your cell phone on the floor while you're texting as you drive?

There are a million (and one) things I could add or say, but I prefer to submit posts that I find interesting. Posts that can help others avoid the dangers of this existence (or lack thereof).

I've said this in the past...and I suggest all of you reading this take heed...

People have become so stinking drunk on their own opinions that their lives have become nothing more than a "what I think" argument/debate. What profit is there to debate and argue? To me, this is one of the worst forms of narcissism and does nothing to edify or uplift. It does nothing to warn or help. All the world has become narcissistic in the extreme. It's all about the I-God. I, Me, Myself. It's all about ME, ME, ME. Oh, you don't agree with ME? Well, that's fine. I don't ask people to agree with me. My reward is knowing that one out of one hundred of you may benefit. I'm not here to further a Jerry Springer debate forum. I'm here to impart knowledge and warnings, perhaps even a bit of spiritual enlightenment/wisdom that I've gleaned from my years of study.

So...that being said, I will close my mouth unless I have something intelligent, uplifting, edifying to add, or...if I have some personal understanding or perhaps even a semi non-alcoholic opinion to offer, I will give it. When I choose to speak, I will...and I have. Anything I say would be a distraction from the meal. I prefer to let people enjoy their meal, not talk through it. Nothing annoys me more than sitting down at a table to eat and have people talk through it, asking questions while you're trying to chew your food. I know there are those who like to chew their food and talk at the same time but I'm just about talked out in this life-time. Again, if I have something to say, that I feel needs to be said, I will say it.

Enjoy the meal! :)

Peace to you and all who read this.

the 'bube-tube' certainly polluted my mind, even to the extent that I became a part

how can I ever Praise/thank Jesus enough for delivering me from such demonic deception???

Five hundred and seventy nine words to say you are just about
talked out  Yet you are in possession of clarity and eloquence.

Maybe your time has not yet come to cease and desist with the talking :)

I'm The Slime...

"I'm The Slime"

[backing vocals Tina Turner & The Ikettes]

I am gross and perverted
I'm obsessed 'n deranged
I have existed for years
But very little has changed
I'm the tool of the Government
And industry too
For I am destined to rule
And regulate you

I may be vile and pernicious
But you can't look away
I make you think I'm delicious
With the stuff that I say
I'm the best you can get
Have you guessed me yet?
I'm the slime oozin' out
From your TV set

You will obey me while I lead you
And eat the garbage that I feed you
Until the day that we don't need you
Don't go for help . . . no one will heed you
Your mind is totally controlled
It has been stuffed into my mold
And you will do as you are told
Until the rights to you are sold

That's right, folks . . .
Don't touch that dial

Well, I am the slime from your video
Oozin' along on your livin' room floor

I am the slime from your video
Can't stop the slime, people, lookit me go

I am the slime from your video
Oozin' along on your livin' room floor

I am the slime from your video
Can't stop the slime, people, lookit me go

why would I want to spend some of my precious time watching yet another video from you without you explaining the purpose of the video and why you feel it should be watched. If I watched it and wrote a post about my impressions would you respond with words of your own or just offer another video for my viewing amusement?
kinda ironic that the guy who apparently spends all his time watching conspiracy videos on youtube ((when he's not busy re-posting them)) is now on about the dangers of watching a bunch of video-format media, in particular the danger of forming a worldview based on all that video footage you watch . . .

. . . right?

really, really reminds me of Psychic TV[SUP]*

Not that I am a expert in these areas, but I wonder if too much TV can actually make a person brain lazy?

just a small part of a much bigger share: some day, when The Lord tells me...

several years ago, Jesus called us out into the wilderness, and we lived without
elec. for 7yrs. plus - but, even before our 'conversion', back in the early 80's, one day while hub
was at work, I threw our little ole tv into the pond out back...think about this, I was still doing some
recreational drugs and drinking, and I STILL felt the evil locked inside of that 'box'...
wooing, bewitching me away from my Heavenly Father...

like I said, just a share, not asking anyone to agree or dis-agree...

And all the children, and young adults, that watch super hero movies, wishing to be like that, perhaps thinking it is could be reality, giving them a craving for such, and Harry Potter, and witchcraft.

With the belief in evolution among many people, and will become more popular, and the new age movement saying people are still evolving, that believe in spiritual evolution through nature, and witchcraft, and people can become more than their current situation, and we only use ten percent of our brain belief, and can attain powers through nature, and waiting for the New Age Christ to appear to bring the power of nature to people.

That have an interpretation of the Bible as such, spiritual evolution through nature, misinterpreting the most popular, and believed book of the religions, for even other religions will believe it holds some truth, and some that have doubts say,it could be true.

And the children are our future,so you know what is going down in the future.

Peace.

haha

actually reminds me more of some churches where people file in at 11 am and out again at 12:01 pm

what is needed is more critical thinking period

don't blame tv. folks are just lazy. we always have a choice
