My wife is a Seventh Day Adventist and I used to attend services with her Saturday morning until my days and hours at work got changed. Hopefully, my schedule will eventually be changed so I can attend once again. I also miss the bible study before the service.
SDA is a bible believing church that basically teaches salvation by contrite confession of sins, that the shed blood of Jesus makes salvation possible and when the Holy Spirit is invited to live inside of your heart you will be guided on the right path. By the grace of God we be able to be a humble servant of the Lord doing the work that our Heavenly Father has prepared beforehand for us to do.
Some say that it's a cult but who cares what 'some' say if there opinion is said out of ignorance, hate, or spite. There are other SDA members on this site as well. Basically, there are a lot of decent Christians here from all walks of life attending different denominations while loving God and doing their best to do what is right in this world.
Glad to have you join us. Welcome to CC.
