I wanted to post two different images but had forgottn to quote and did not want people to think I was going to bed when the sun has just now set here, so I had to start over, and I could not easily find the first of the two I had originally chosen, so posted just that one instead, but I had never thought that anyone would think I was endorsing the eating of butterflies by dogs my goodness no, I love both critters very much, though truth be told probably dogs even better than butterflies because and yes, it is a shame you know, but I rarely interact with butterflies, though I do interact with dogs quite a bit in comparison, and I cannot say I would encourage or condone them eating any butterflies regardless of how tasty they might find them, probably because I see the butterfly as a symbol of our own transformation, going from a lowly worm crawling about in the dirt and grime and filth of this world to the beautiful butterfly that God is fashioning us to be

IF JESUS WASN'T REALLY SAYING WHAT HE WAS SAYING REGARDING OBEDIENCE TO HIS COMMANDS AND WHAT YOU’RE SAYING IS WHAT JESUS WAS SUPPOSED TO SAY, SHOULD I BELIEVE YOU INSTEAD OF HIM? GOD FORBID.
EVERY ORGANIZATION, COMPANY, ASSOCIATION OR WHATEVER GROUP THERE MAY BE, WORKING AS ONE TO REACH A CERTAIN GOAL, HAVE A SET OF RULES AND POLICIES TO FOLLOW FOR THE SMOOTH AND ORDERLY FLOW OF OPERATION, FOR WITHOUT THESE, THERE WILL BE CONFUSIONS, CHAOS AND DISORDER.
DISOBEDIENCE TO THE RULES IS REBELLION TO THE AUTHORITIES.
Romans 13:1-5 Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you. For he is God’s servant to do you good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword for nothing. He is God’s servant, an agent of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also because of conscience.
AS CHRISTIANS WE ARE EXPECTED TO BE FAITHFUL AND OBEDIENT TO GOD OUR FATHER AND TO HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD.
IF WE LOVE GOD WE WILL OBEY HIS COMMANDS.( john 14:12-24, 1 john 3:16-18 & 5:1-3)
DO YOU LOVE GOD?
“If you’ve been in any church for at least five years, you will know that Jesus’ first commandment is pretty much humanly impossible to keep, while the second commandment is DEFINITELY impossible.”
BUT THIS IS WHAT GOD SAID;
Matthew 19:26 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but “WITH” GOD all things are possible.”
THEREFORE THOSE WHO ARE WITH GOD(john 14:23) ARE ABLE TO OBEY HIM AND DO EXACTLY AS HE COMMANDED.
John 14:31 but the world must learn that I LOVE THE FATHER and that I do exactly what my Father has commanded me. “Come now; let us leave.
WHAT ABOUT THE DISOBEDIENT?
Romans 8:7-9 the sinful mind is hostile to God. It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God. You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ
John 15:22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin. Now, however, they have no excuse for their sin.
Romans 2:7-13 To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile; but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. For God does not show favoritism. All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law. For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous.
Romans 1:32 ALTHOUGH THEY KNOW GOD’S RIGHTEOUS DECREE that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also APPROVE OF THOSE WHO PRACTICE THEM.
Psalm 49:13 This is the fate of those who trust in themselves, and of their followers, who approve their sayings. Selah
