A lot of people still don't realize prices started going up to $2.40 since early this morning and now places are running out of gas. The price wars have begun. Man, I paid $4.59; but atleast I got my tank full.
Wow, Won't be much travel around here for the long weekend.
Our gas is close to five and a half dollars an American gallon.
It is often always cheaper in the 'burbs, though...
Gosh, I don't know! But the price has been yo-yoing around for a while now. It was around $1.30 a litre for a while (approximately four litres per American gallon), but has gone up to $1.40, and possibly higher. My gas tank is full right now, so I have not looked at the price the last couple of days. It usually goes down a bit one evening coming up to the weekend, like tonight it might, and then I will top up. Otherwise, I just wait until I need to buy gas and then get what I need regardless of the scalping going onJust curious. How much of that price is tax?
