This is a good point sister. However that which is created is going to inherently do what it is created for.

We were physically born in the flesh by the will of men. By our very inherent nature sin is a natural byproduct of who we are when we are physically born. Some people may be born magnificent specimens of humanity.

Intelligent, strong, great immune system, even compassionate by human standards. Some are born with all manner of maladies and diseases, of both the body and mind.

BOTH WILL sin and die in the flesh.

Those that are born again, are born by the Will of God, not men. They are a totally NEW creation! Some are born anew right from their Spiritual birth with the knowledge, and wisdom to apply AND access ALL the fruit of the Holy Spirit that is available to them

Unfortunately, many, myself included, are Spiritually reborn as a Child of God, but have to be corrected in love by our Father, and to have Him reveal Truths to our New Heart. This can be painful at times. But as you say, looking back, we can see where He ALWAYS had our best interest at heart.

BOTH are His Children. That's who we INHERENTLY are now. So we don't and can't try, or strive, to abide in Him. WE ARE in HIm!

I firmly believe the MORE this Truth grows in our hearts, the MORE we WANT to please Him by loving Him, AND each other, out of ever growing gratitude, and love for what He has done for us and to us.

Hopefully this scratches where a lot of people seem to be itchin!
What is born again?...the spirit, mind or flesh of a man?

Hi Magenta; I wish to make an apology to you and everybody that knows me on this thread. I made a statement to a poster on this thread that I was a missionary with stage 4 prostate cancer. That was a false and misleading statement to all of you that I care about on this forum. I do have stage 4 prostate cancer but I am not a missionary. When I am wrong I like to openly admit that I was wrong. If it was something that was done in public I believe it should be addressed in a public form. Thank you for your kind consideration and I really do appreciate being a small part of everybody's life here at Christianchat.com. So again please forgive me and God bless all of you.
Accepted in the Beloved! We all are one.

The Good work he started in you may not be salvation as you think and others think it is....
In this statement I have much agreement. While we are in the process of His saving our soul....the goal is Sonship...

And it is not taught enough except by groups labeled as manifested sons...or latter day reign. There are errors in this movement, true. But basically they are correct in Sonship.

I think constructively said, we are have made it clear we do not believe in works to earn salvation.....you continue to see this, but ti is not what we have said....ever...
but many of people say that one must do good works to maintain salvation, which equals out to the same thing.

of course doing good works are a huge part of every believer's life, but not to " maintain " salvation, to " prove salvation by works". both of these concepts, which we see here on a regular basis, are works salvationism, no matter how they try to explain that it's not.

First,
Matt 5.6-
[SUP]6 [/SUP]“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.<<<<we still hunger and thirst for things of God, but I know where you were going so no big deal...
john 6, do not seek for food which perishes but f D which nudges to eternal life, which I will give you because god has set his seal on me, whoever eats this food will NEVER hunger and NEVER thirst, all he father gives to me WILL come to me and whoevecomes I will by no means cast out, the will of the father is whoever comes will never be lost, and he will raise it on the last day, everyone who sees and believes HAS eternal life, and I will raise them on the last day,

john 4' whoever drinks this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water I shall give him will never thirst, but the water I give him will be a fountain of living water springing up to eternal life,

as as you can see in these two passages, the drinking and eating of food water, bread flesh whatever term jesus used, is living food, whoever eats it will never hunger or thirst, it is also said, it will endure forever springing t eternal life,

the context is that we will never again thirst or hunger for the knowledge of where we will spend eternity. It is assured, unlike the food which the Jewish fathers ate (mana) who ate and died whoever eats that fspiritual food will live for rever,

this is talking it about the gospel,

matt 5 is talking about hungering father r spiritual things as we grow in Christ, not for food which we must eat to gain eternal life, huge contrast in context, and meanings.

One again speaks of justificarion (eternal salvation) the other speaks of sanctification (Christian growth)

again, we see where we have the root of our discussion based on different things, I am talking about eternity. Your talking about spiritual maturity or Christian growth,

Second, Just an observation and not an accentuation, we just need you to help some of us out here...

You have stated in several past posts that you are not Calvinist....but then say this:

Whether you realize it or not, you are telling people you Believe in a Calvinist tenant of predestination and are elected and have no choice to come to God, he came to you...
predesrination is a biblical term, god said we were predestin s, that is not a Calvin thing it says god chose us before time began to b conformed to his image that is not a Calvin thing,

calvin said we are savd not be free will, but by gods election, I disagree
calvine states double predestination, I disagree,

again, let's look at what I say, not what some man who has been dead for along time says, maybe then you will not have any questions, all I said was what the word of God said,

Here is a chance for us both to grow and not hurl accusation at each other....could you help me understand why you are have previous posts that state you are not Calvinist and IIRC correctly and I am probably wrong, you have even came agaisnt Calvin, but you seem to imply here that you do in fact believe and adhere to his principal of predestination and being elect and chosen...If I am wrong, so sorry...just trying to understand where you are coming from...

I believe eve god chose us based on forknowledge, forknowledge of what? That God knew his son would come, he would fulfill the law, he would then offer eternal life, and he knew who would accept, and who would reject, and he chose, based on that knowledge he would save whoever he knew would believe.

i said this earlier, I think it is like prophesy, God knew Jesus would come 69 weeks after the command to restore Jerusalem he did come to the date, when he come and entered, Gods foreknowledge was proven correct, because god knows,

god knew EG back in the 1970's would come to repentance and call out to god for mercy so God would give him all the things he promised he would give, on that date back in my church (I remember it like it was yesterday just not the date..lol) that prophesy so to speak was fulfilled. On that date, I did what God knew thousands of years ago, I would do, and this is the basis for how I was predestined.

calvinism teaches god chose you, so you will believe, God did not chose you, you will never believe, free will is removed, I reject that,

i hope and pray pray this makes sense, I know. Can get wordy..

Hi Stones,

I don't think so.

The sower parable isn't about the condition of our nature to sin. It's not talking about there's no one righteous.

It's talking about those who have a pliable heart that will receive the (seed) truth of the gospel to completion. We're saved, we're being saved and we will be saved. Those who endure in the faith are the true believers in the gospel and therefore the good soil. The good soil is the only soil that brings forth fruit, 30 60 100 fold.

I believe the seed is the truth of the gospel, the word of God. Jesus called it the message of the kingdom.

1 Peter 1:23 for you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God.

Something they all seem to miss is this....The seed was sowed onto all 4 soils, but conditions rose up later that changed their heart condition....and how they received and then rejected the word

The seed is Jesus....the sower was Jesus and he was sowing himself.... the sowers today are ministers of the Gospel who sow Jesus into the hearts of people......

....for people to preach and teach that all but 1 soil are unbelievers is not true...the seed was sown and received by all 4 soils....
The point is the ground. Did the seed take root. Actually the seed is sperma in greek so we have here a picture of the new birth in the good ground. Similar to conception.

salvation is the start, apart from salvation, there will be no other good works.

I seem to remember you saying to me that you read all my posts because you follow several whose comments interest you. So who is the stalker? I don't make a point to read all of anyones posts.

I don't mind anyone reading all my posts...if the motive to do so is righteous.

It's now the glory Meggido. The rain has already come. And I don't receive curses in the name of Jesus.

The glory is His...we run into it ...not away.

It's called discernment Rosemary. Not suspicion.
Hi Sof...I understand that well, but we can still have our discernment behind the keyboard, not to be shown untill the person is shown to be truly who they are...What if there is no truth in this at all, it can lead to slander of ones name, that`s why my discernment was for NNM...xox...
