Ok ok, some people are frightened by the thought of going to prison, that's one way.

It should give us great pause when we see flippant attitudes toward this very serious subject because the adversary's agenda is being furthered, and I am sure his glee is equal to God's sorrow at the discussion.

Matthew 7

22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you;

Thanks for sharing.. i remember years ago sharing that the Christmas tree was a symbol of eating the forbidden fruit for some people of this world.. was not received well.. the heart of those decorating the tree is the true intent and not all use the tree for this reason.

The winter solstice is a marker for paganism.. and the 8 day theme just reminded me of something coming up very soon.

peace and love.

If we would only refer to scripture rather than the traditions of men. Satan is subtle, and (including myself) we have no understanding of how we are attributing to paganism and calling it Christian. Why do we make light of it, and joke around? What is the spiritual influence? How does our Chreator view these things?
Well I think the Creator WANTS me to observe Christmas and Easter properly so that the world who see them as Christian festivals may see my witness.

The newer members and guests should be the focus of such posts so they can learn about these very serious things. After all, God is not pleased with having His name attached to pagan practices and calling it okay. I didn't start this thread for the benefit of people who have been here for a long time. Just wanted to share what I had learned because things today are so different from proper, truthful observances.
So then your point is to tell newcomers that if they celebrate Christmas
they're not really Christians, but actually Nimrod-worshipping Pagans?
Quit mincing words.
Make your point directly.

There is 8 days between two events coming up in September.. you mentioning it with regard to Tammuz stood out.

I think one is September 21st, thanking mother earth for the harvest. I don't know what the other one could be.

According to the Bible, the new moon this year is the same day. (Sept 21st, 2017 Hebrew month 7) This is the first day of trumpets in scripture.

Leviticus 23:22-24
[SUP]22 [/SUP]And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not make clean riddance of the corners of thy field when thou reapest, neither shalt thou gather any gleaning of thy harvest: thou shalt leave them unto the poor, and to the stranger: I am the Lord your God.
[SUP]23 [/SUP]And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
[SUP]24 [/SUP]Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.

Am I right about that one?
