Some Christians like me has trouble finding the right guy. But I came up with this thread because I wanted to know what do you like in men and women.

Is it because of their attractiveness? Is it because they make you smile every time you meet him or her? Or is it from God?
 
To me what's inside a woman's heart is the most important thing. My wife has a beautiful heart and I find that most attractive. She's also a hot mama too and playful and affectionate.
 
I find that a God loving man that treats me as an equal, that has a sense of humor and silliness, and a laid back attitude is "da bomb". I've met one man like this and he's one of my best friends.

There is a saying the says THE ATTRACTIVENESS IS NOT HOW BEAUTIFUL SHE LOOKS LIKE BUT THE BEAUTY IS IN HER HEART.

Matthew 22

37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[c] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[d] 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

A good woman knows how obedience to that happens. Appreciating physical beauty is not a sinful thing to me, I don't know of any human being who is perfect physically.
 
Many will give the standard answers. Heart after God. Beautiful on the inside. And while these are valid they're also cliche and unoriginal and, in my opinion, somewhat shallow responses. Its a Christian site, so some things will be common among the majority. Would be interesting to see answers that step out if the typical predictable cliches that reveal nothing and give answers that are more personal and unique to the individual.

Very interesting!!!! Yes Christian Sites are going to be the "LOVE-AT-FIRST-SIGHT", thing for them but the only thing that I need to be cautious when using Christian date sites is scam. Deception is going to be a worry nowadays!!!

There is nothing more attractive than a man in love with GOD :). And....hmmm... A strong and silent type a man who doesn't talk very much :)
 
If she has Christ living in her, giving a strong moral back bone and if she's thankful for being wherever she is in life, even it's living in a shack out in the woods.
 
Not sure if there really is a perfect personality or a certain look. I think a love interest happens on you unexpected like. And when it does it takes all your attention! Sweeps up all the corners. It's like a spider web in the face, kind of.

There was this girl in high school I kind of knew. Didn't know her much on a personal level, just saw her about everyday. I thought she was plain as paper. Then a few years later I met up with her again at a restaurant by accident. She had a ribbon in her hair and when she turned and looked at me her dark eyes almost stung. A little upturn in her quirky smile tore a hole in me.

So what is that exactly? Did I know how unbelievably smart she was, going on later in life to earn two masters? No. Did I have the foresight to judge her character to know she always had my back even when I lost faith in my own self? No. Did I know her courage and sense of adventure jumping in quarry lake that time? No. Did I know her immense heart?

Didn't know nothing about her. Plain as a sheet of paper I thought.
 
*Obligatory 3-year time skip*

I'm interested only in men who:

- Can take a joke.
- Preferably slightly taller than me. It would be a little embarrassing to see a short man walking with his 175 cm tall Asian wife...
- Treat animals well, especially cats.
- Treat their mothers well.
- Are in 2D.

I think the last requirement alone shows how bright my future love life would be...

I am seriously considering having my own 3-year time skip. Maybe things will be more quiet then and I'll be able to rest. I need to go back to the future. Seriously.
 
the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,meekness, temperance

(these make the best personality for both men and women i think)
