I met a Christian girl last year in December, and I found out she has a long running obsession with a man who she only met briefly.

She thinks every man she mets online is him, she even thought I was him until I called her on the phone.

Should I get involved with a Christian who's like this?

I'm not sure what Jesus would say in this situation except to say that this girl seems unbalanced and you probably should have no further contact with her.

You can love her all the same but if you sense something a miss then it may not lead to anything other than friendship if that is where you may of been heading.. not sure.

It may be a good friend can help her with what you deem a slight obsession and longing for a certain man.

Many play with each other's feelings without thought or care for the hurt they cause a person.

Love and forgive always.

Just be friends with her. Love her with Christ's love; see 1 Corinthians 13th chapter for details.

She may have a dream, but she may wake up and come down from cloud nine to earth. You certainly can pray for her that the Lord will either bring the two together or wake her up to real life or both.

Being obsessed with someone, would mean her heart is divided and God does not come first in her life.

But I am seeking a biblical answer here, not a human opinion based on fuzzy feeling's.

She is very pretty, and devoted, but totally mental.

(But not as much as me)

Well... in marriage... God is not first in priority in serving Him and the Lord understands that.

1 Corinthians 7:[SUP]32 [/SUP]But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord:[SUP]33 [/SUP]But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife.
[SUP]34 [/SUP]There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.
[SUP]35 [/SUP]And this I speak for your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is comely, and that ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction.
[SUP]36 [/SUP]But if any man think that he behaveth himself uncomely toward his virgin, if she pass the flower of her age, and need so require, let him do what he will, he sinneth not: let them marry.
[SUP]37 [/SUP]Nevertheless he that standeth stedfast in his heart, having no necessity, but hath power over his own will, and hath so decreed in his heart that he will keep his virgin, doeth well.
[SUP]38 [/SUP]So then he that giveth her in marriage doeth well; but he that giveth her not in marriage doeth better.
[SUP]39 [/SUP]The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.

Ultimately, all you will receive in life are human opinions, fuzzy or otherwise. Of course, God doesn't offer opinions but rather statements of truth. Perhaps in the book of Proverbs you will find spiritual counsel on this situation. That would be a good place to start for the answers that you seek.

She's not married, she's obsessed with a stranger.

No chance of flooding where I am. But, high winds could cause some damage.
