Has anyone seen the movie "Gone Baby Gone?" I saw it last night and it was really good. Wanted to know what others thought about the decision Cassey Affleck's character makes in the end.
Since u say its good, I'll see if I can watch it, then I'll get back to you :)

I'm sorry Molly, I just tried to watch it but casey affleck keeps slurring his words and I can't understand a thing he's saying. There wasn't any closed caption available either.

Nearly 4 am here in Iowa and I'm watching YouTube videos instead of sleeping. Insomnia is a real pain in the patoot sometimes. It's going to be a loooooooooong day.

You could always wikipedia the synopsis...

Turns out the mother didn't even know the name of her daughter's favorite doll. The real mystery is why she even hired a P.I. to find her kidnapped daughter at the start of the movie. Or maybe it's not a mystery, maybe it's a plot hole. What was the motivation for the mother to hire the P.I. to find a daughter she didn't really care about?

I got to bed before 9pm so I'm awake after a fair night's sleep.

But for all you insomniacs out there:

Oh shoot, I have levitation class at 25:131. Better set the alarm to "cinnamon."

I haven't slept well in years, but some nights are worse than others.
Sorry to hear that, YG. I used to sleep well but haven't for the last few years either. It seems to be pretty common these days. I always tell people to exercise til you tire yourself out and you'll be able to sleep like a baby. I haven't been exercising though. :/

A coworker shared today that he forgot his wedding anniversary yesterday and is going to make it up tonight.
After hearing that, I couldn't tell if I was in a better spot, not having to worry things like wedding anniversary.
Couldn't really tell and just continued with my work, as if nothing has happened.

Which raises the important question, if you remember that you forgot before you are reminded that you forgot do you get any credit for a belated rememberance?

You get a partial refund on the credit you would have lost if your spouse reminded you before you remembered on your own. You don't gain anything, but you only lose about two thirds of the credit you would have lost if your spouse reminded you first.

EDIT: Of course I'm single so what would I know about it? But from what I've observed, that's usually how it works.

A husbands credit card dwells well in a wife's purse.

I know he definitely had a funny accent going on there. I love him in it though. He did great. I wish you could see it. I saw it on Netflix and I saw it with subtitles. But I actually see everything with subtitles. I don't like missing details.

For example, my mom saw Moonlight and she told me it was about a black kid overcoming poverty and then he grows up and finds his friend from the past. I saw the movie with subtitles and told her he was actually gay and was trying to come to terms with his sexuality in a place where he has to look very masculine and is to be feared. He is a drug dealer. My mom was completely surprised. She had no idea the movie was about that. She said she didn't understand a lot of what they said. I told her that's why I put the subs b/c I usually don't understand what they say either. lol BTW Moonlight is awful. I'm not saying that b/c he's gay, I'm saying it b/c it was like seriously such a boring movie.
I thought Precious was so much better.

Lynx did you see it?
The aunt hired the P.I., not the mom. I'm not ruining the movie. That's how the movie starts, with the aunt looking for the P.I. Watch the movie guys. I'm talking about the decision the guy makes at the end. It really makes you think...and question what's right or wrong.

My dog, Plato, is a service dog. It is getting old and next month he will get his retirement and I will get a new dog called Memo.

I am alone in the house when going to bed. Normally I manage fine. But today I slipped and fell half way to the bed with my trousers around the ancles. (I guess it looked hillarious but it didn't feel like it) The dog was tired. It is passed his bed time, and he normally doesn't undress me. Anyway. He pulled my trousers off, then picked up the control to the bed (the room was dark and he doesn't see that well anymore) and gave it to my hand. I could get up and get to bed. Without him I would have slept on the floor until tomorrow morning. Jesus and Plato get both thanks tonight. And Plato is getting a nice treat and permission to sleep in my bed.

Dogs are the best! So when he retires, do you keep him still? Also, are you okay from the fall?

My sleep went downhill back in 2004 when I started getting migraines. Even when I didn't have a migraine, I often had insomnia, and too much of a lack of sleep would trigger a migraine. Handy...not. I haven't had a migraine since December of 2012, but I still have insomnia. Most nights when I can manage to sleep, I still don't feel rested when I wake up. It stinks, but instead of fight it, I just get out of bed and go back to work on something. Luckily for me my dissertation is always sitting there waiting for me to work on it some more.

I am ok thank you. My muscels to into crisis mode, and it takes some time to get back to normal but I am fine now. I want to keep him, but it might be difficult to have two dogs. I hope a friend will be able to take him in. They have some allergy issues, so they have to try vil over the weekend.
