It's in a place called York (the original York, not New York lol)
Its about. 45 min car ride from me - amazing place, its a Roman city
complete with wall around the city, cathedral, castle turret etc.

I love that place. In the land of ago I went to Derwent. Lotsa nice folks there. I didn't understand their accent, and they didn't understand mine lol. The cathedral, though, had a claustrophobic sorta stairway, not exactly to Heaven, but all the way up to the place where you could have a great view and be experiencing some high anxiety.

York gets my vote! Even though that is the only place in the UK that I ran into a real jerk (bartender at a pub)... I LOVE that city. Yorkminster is wonderful, as is Clifford's Tower... beautiful place. Walking the city wall is quite an experience.

I too have anxiety. It gets bad. Close proximity to peers it's worse.
Around older people (no offense to those reading) it's not as bad.
I wasted many years contributing nothing to my personal, education part of life and I feel because of that many may think I have nothing to offer.
I have as of late forced myself to learn and read more but still feel inadequate. Especially when so many are so well read and have knowledge of so many topics and whatnot.
I feel terrible.. recently I had to stop PM's here because the anxiety was creeping in.
It's embarrassing. I can't be "normal". .

It's easy being in a group of people that is talking about something you don't know anything about. I just don't talk. I turn my mouth off and my ears on and let them natter. If they're talking about something I don't care about, I turn my ears off too and think about something else for a while.

Just because people are talking about something doesn't mean you HAVE to talk about it too. Even if they ask your opinion about it, just tell the truth: "Oh I don't know anything about that."

Online, I don't have much issue because I don't consider online interactions as "real". I'm in complete control of if and how much I interact, and if I say something bad or wrong, it's entirely my doing. I don't have to worry about things like eye contact, body language, voice inflections, and all that junk when I post online. In real life, I'm a wreck.

I'd like to meet wine rose because she has such a witty sense of humor so she probably has a comical collection of some sort to match(probably pokemon and anime shows lol)
and she has an ever changing signature which shows she is imaginative so definitely someone worth meeting!
Ugly I'd like to meet because he has a very extensive knowledge of religions,so discussion with him would be cool.
Levi I would like to meet because he is such a kind soul praying for so many people that I would like to meet him and tell him thank you in person for being so willing to pray.

I have actually met two cc people, but I guess it's of no count since one of them is my brother and the other one is my second cousin, and I knew them, of course, way before cc. It was in fact my brother who told me about this site. Ironically he is never on here anymore.
