you all should be ashame of yourself.
Jesus said what He said to illustrate that the failure of Peter was part of his personality,
though sinful, so that Peter knew he could find forgiveness in Jesus if he trusted Him.
The argument was through this failure Peter could have fallen, but Jesus wanted to say
as an encouragement to all, if you have faith in Him He will forgive and pull you through.
A person without faith, will not ask and be lost.
Now this is plain, out in the open.
This emotional use of shame is shocking, over a biblical reality.
It demonstrates your desire to bring condemnation and bad feeling to people knows no
bounds for issues that are not an issue for the Lord.
As I have asked, show me where unbelief is rewarded or taken as an acceptable place
in scripture?
You yourself call unbelief the unforgivable sin. So it is somewhat hypocritical to condemn
someone for seeing a sin as Jesus describes it. But then in your confused theology, condemning
people for something you believe is no shock.....it is just another illustration of the tragic heresy
you are trapped in.
A side note about these people, is they will appear to be reasonable and then use condemning
language to create bad feeling for sensitive souls. Unfortunately for those easily deceived this
has a powerful effect and many will back off, though the believer is 100% standing on the foundations
of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen, Praise His glorious name and the false teachers are not.
