Exactly. And the bear was raised on one side because the Persian Empire was more significant than the Median Empire...and so on...
y'all sure this symbol of Babylon, a lion with eagle's wings, from a wall frieze in the citadel at Susa ((where Daniel actually was in ch. 8 v. 2)), has nothing to do with Daniel 7?

You are almost right. Let’s get down to real reason for Daniel’s vision. It still comes down to “the firstest with the mostest”. Or you could say” the fastest with the mostest”. Speed is every thing. How do you think Babylon would hs
aave faired with USA ‘s troops with the weapondry of today?

Firstly you need to establish the meaning of Daniel's visions. Then you can begin to comprehend their purpose. I can think of many 'real reasons' for Daniel's visions.

The meaning of Daniel’s vision was from to all who read Daniel, to show what kingdoms were going to fall and approximately when.

The man of sin is still under wraps. We will not live to see him, that is the USA won’t. Read Rev. 8. This is the US when God lays his hand on us.

More like a T-Rex sort of. It’ll put the fear of God in you.

not listing Germany as one of the most significant nations involved in WWII would probably be a reasonable basis to call into serious question ones comprehension of history.

Germany lost didn’t she? While the USA was fighting two battles. Why even Russia asked for our help. At the beginning Germany teemed up with Japan,Russia, and Italy and still lost.

German national coat of arms, btw:

and the coat of arms of Chemnitz, the industrial center of Germany

if we were German, not American, we would be appropriating Daniel 7 to ourselves with these symbols instead?

i'm thinking that practically anywhere in the world, it would not be difficult to find eagles and lions being used symbolically. they are very common symbols of regency, and have been very common for thousands of years.

just giving some perspective. do carry on.

America has a long history ((well, actually a very short history, when compared to most other nations)) of assuming everything is about herself and proudly proclaiming herself the most magnificent and important thing since the dawn of time.

i.e. no prophecy has to actually have anything to do with America in order for Americans to think it has everything to do with us. a lot of people here are convinced that every Biblical prophecy about the blessings promised to Israel are all about America, and have nothing to do with literal Israel, for example.
