When you do a lot for someone and they don't appreciate it and talk down to you it's VERY hard not to go off on them. I deal with that a lot with my job and there are days I want to punch a hole in the wall out of frustration. Thankfully I just picked up a punching bag at a yard sale for $10.
I once bought a punching bag from a yard sale. There were some odd bulges in the side that turned out to be free weight discs... as in, cast iron. The (expletive deleted) who sold it to me neglected to tell me that. Fortunately I wasn't the one who punched that particular part of the bag and nearly broke his hand, leading to the unpleasant discovery of said weights.

Did the mounting hardware come with the bag? Those things can be a pain to set up without a stout chain and a sturdy joist... and a strong assistant.

I thought MuseScore was online only, but it seems like I can download it. Trust that more than the Guitar pro, as I would never write anything for a guitar.... Last time I used MuseScore it was a bit difficult with changing time signatures but it might have changed since then. I also need the programme to handle up to 25 parts. I guess I just have to check it out. If it doesn't work, I have to sell my pride and get myself a Mac and Sibelius or Finale. It costs a fortune, though.
That link I gave you, a few of those programs mention unlimited tracks...

And you can try all those programs and not be out one thin dime. Try them all before you give up. RoseGarden looks most promising, followed by MuseScore. But I've never tried them so I don't know for sure which is best.

I tried Rose garden some years ago, but it didn't work for me that time. But I guess the world has moved forward although I haven't. Thank you for your effort. I am wanting to do some music again. It has been idle for so long....

toinena: There's always youtube... youtube "How to use MuseScore" or "Linux RoseGarden tutorial" to get an overview of what they can do and how they work. Or do the same for any of the programs that were in that list I linked.

Du ass. Hva skulle jeg gjort uten deg!
Thank you so much. I am going to start composing tomorrow. I just need to finish this paper that is due tomorrow at 4pm. I know I will manage. And that is the tricky part. It makes it too easy to procatinate.

toinena, a question: What is the end result you are wanting? Are you printing out sheet music and then playing a physical musical instrument? Or are you making sheet music in your computer and then playing it in the computer?

Going to California on vacation again in a few weeks, visiting different places this time. It won't come a moment too soon, life has been crazy.

While I'm there, I will be going at trick-or-treating for the first time ever in my life! I am 27 years old and have never been before. I'm going to go dressed as a cat. There won't be any children with us, so I might have to put a nametag on my collar that says, "I know I'm an adult but this is my first time trick or treating - Please still give me candy!" :D

I went trick or treating with my cousins (they were little back then) at 19 then again in my early 20s with some friends. It was awesome! Free candy. We're all short too so I think with costumes, we could pass as 16 year olds. :p

I wish I were doing it again this year lol. Some people want to put an age limit on trick or treating, lame right? I say, if you have a costume on, you could be 90 and go trick or treating. It's for everyone.

You could move to Colorado where yesterday was t-shirt weather and today was winter coat weather (37 was our high with snow on and off all day).

Oh gurl. I’m telling you...punching and kicking things is where it’s AT.

I had an awful day...like grossly awful. (You know our job...let your imagination run with it) I went to work out and kicked and punched alllllll that stress away. YouTube kickboxing. Do it!!!
