No- he didn't speak e-bonics.
He never used that ancient Hebrew Name.
He used "ego eimi" as everyone else did- to say he WAS there.
Need me to post what the Greek term really means?
Isa 43:10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
Isa 43:11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.
There was no created God whatsoever, and God is the only Savior.
1Ti 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
God was manifest in flesh as our Savior.
1Jn 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
God laid down His physical life for us.
Act 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
God purchased the Church with His own blood.
Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Joh 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Joh 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
God is an invisible Spirit, and no person has seen Him,and Jesus is God showing a visible manifestation of Himself.
Mat 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
Joh 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
Joh 13:13 Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.
Joh 13:14 If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet.
Mat 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Eph 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism.
Jesus called Himself Lord, and there is only one Lord, which Jesus said that the Lord is God,so if there is only one Lord, and it is God,and Jesus called Himself Lord, then He is God.
The word of God,the Holy Bible,is God revealing Himself by words written in a book.
The WORD of God is God revealing Himself personally by manifesting Himself in flesh, and dwelling among people for the sake of their salvation.
Joh 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
Jesus was on earth, and in heaven at the same time.
Luk 23:42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.
Luk 23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.
Jesus told the thief he would be with Him in paradise, even though Jesus went to conquer death, hell, and the grave, which Lazarus was considered in paradise,as the rich man in hell looked up and seen him in Abraham's bosom, which I say that for some will say that paradise is in hell, maybe because they cannot believe Jesus can be in both spots at the same time.
So what do you do with all that information, but I have come to realize that for the most part scriptures do not mean a whole lot among many people, but they will hold unto what their denomination teaches.
The Bible plainly states that Jesus is God,for there is no God created after God,so Jesus cannot be a created God,and Jesus is God manifest in the flesh, and only God is Lord, and Master, and there is only one Lord, but Jesus called Himself Lord and Master.
1Co 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
No one calls Jesus,Lord, but by the Holy Ghost, which claims Him as authority, and there is only one Lord,so you know what that means.
1Ti 6:14 That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:
1Ti 6:15 Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;
1Ti 6:16 Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.
Jesus dwells in the light that no person can approach unto, and no person has ever seen Jesus, and no person will ever see Jesus, for He is an invisible Spirit,so this should be enough to testify that Jesus is God,and He showed a visible manifestation of Himself.
