I agree. I like mine non-glazed as well but it's been literally years since I had one
I like the variety that has kind of a flaky crust...don't recall what brand those are...but haven't had one of those for a long time either

Currently I'm down with Eggo Waffle's. Bought this gigantic pack from Costco over a month ago. I used to put maple syrup on them but now just eat them with my hands right out of the toaster. One of these days I will eat the last one. Maybe I will put strawberry preserves on the last two that I eat. I know that this would take effort on my part to actually spread the jam on but it may be worth the effort. The never ending supply of the little sausage biscuits from Costco are becoming problematic as well.

I'm a strawberry guy myself! Along with a dark cup of coffee or hot chocolate....and breakfast is served....

exactly. one must be reasonable when speaking of tasty guilt inducing items of food
it is also useful to eat two so that you keep both sides of your body even, which is the practical application for the cancellation effect

While true he did know what he signed in for,I sure would not have told the parents this! I would have said, I am very sorry for your loss,but your son never died in vain! For all we know, this woman could have been ragging about what a waste it was, and how terrible that a military person in war lost his life.... a very good response to that would be, yes it is a tragedy, but this soldier was doing the duty he volunteered for... he KNEW the dangers, and he signed on anyway..
This would be a tribute to the patriotism and dedication of that soldier, and the soldier's desire to protect the rest of us.

I agree with you, especially about "he knew what he signed up for". Perhaps someone will say that about me one day.
The soldier that died counted the costs of enlisting in the military and ultimately paid the price. A great tribute to his memory indeed.
