Hi Hizikyah,

I wish you would stop substituting Jesus; name with something that is the figment of someones imagination, it really does border on Blaspheme, this Hebrew roots stuff is just sheer nonsense!

Yahshua is not the Hebrew name for Jesus, never was and never will be. Get it right and stop re writing scripture.

You're obviously passionate about what you believe, but it is possible, even probable, that the Lord's Day means the same thing as the day of the Lord. I believe the whole book of Revelation concerns the future. John being in the spirit on the Lord's day means he received revelation concerning the Lord's day, AKA the day of the Lord.
I have never even considered before that the 'Lord's day' and 'day of the Lord' is the exact same thing. This could very well be true. I also agree with you that the book of Revelation concerns the future, otherwise it is simply a history book and would hold little meaning.

Some of our Preterist brethren will no doubt take exception... :)

Thanks for the rep.

No, it isn't possible! In Rev.1:10 John says "I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day" meaning that he was meditating on the Lord and his word. Then in Rev.4:1 he says it again, but with the meaning of being literally in the Spirit and taken up to see the visions in heaven and all that he was shown.

When John said "I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day" he was not referring to "the day of the Lord" because it hasn't started yet! It's the coming, unprecedented time of God's wrath wrath.
It hadn't happened yet in the second incidence you cite either! And yet he says it again! In fact, if he couldn't be in the spirit the first time seeing things that hadn't yet happened, how can he be in the spirit the second time seeing things that still haven't happened yet??

Where in Scripture does it say Sunday or the 1st day is "the Lord's Day" or that Revelation 1:9-10 is talking about Sunday/1st day?

Could one not go "the Lord's day" (Monday)?
No. The seventh Day Sabbath is the Lord's day. For the Son of man is LORD also of the Sabbath.
(Matthew 12:8,Mark 2:28 and Luke 6:5)

Hello, LB. Been awhile! :)

The Bible saying that Jesus Christ is Lord of the Sabbath is not the same thing as saying that the Lord's day in Rev 1:10 is the Sabbath.

The Bible saying that Jesus Christ is Lord of the Sabbath is not the same thing
as saying that the Lord's day in Rev 1:10 is the Sabbath.
yes it was on the first day of the week, not the Sabbath but [in a vision of a future time].
I find the day of the Lords vengeance will be a year long punishment.

Isaiah 34:8 (KJV)
For it is [the day] of the Lord's vengeance,
and [the year] of recompences for the controversy of Zion.

Isaiah 61:2 (KJV)
To proclaim the acceptable [year] of the Lord,
and [the day of vengeance] of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

Isaiah 63:4 (KJV)
For [the day of vengeance] is in mine heart,
and [the year] of my redeemed is come.

Luke 21:22 (KJV)
For these be the day of vengeance,
that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

-
Sabbath
The 6 days[6000 years mans way]toil work-
7th day 1- Sabbath rest , [1000 years reign] promised rest.

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing,
that one day is with the Lord as a thousandyears,
and a thousand years as one day.

But then again , every day and thing is made for His pleasure, Lord of alkl.

(Matthew 12:8,Mark 2:28 and Luke 6:5)

It is precisely because Christ is Lord of the sabbath that He had the right and the authority to make the first day of the week -- The Lord's Day -- the Christian sabbath, and also the day of Christian worship. The very fact that the MORROW AFTER THE SABBATH is called the Lord's Day should be sufficient reason to observe the Christian sabbath. Christ's resurrection made Him both Lord and Christ, and that occurred on the Lord's Day, not on the sabbath (which was God's day of rest also).

I agree 1 days is as 1,00 years to Yah and judgement day, but is there Scripture to support "Jesus became our Sabbath?" Because the rest in Him is still future, it is the kingdom:

Matt 11:27-30, "All things have been delivered to Me by My Father. And no one fully knows the Son except the Father, neither does anyone fully know the Father, except the Son and those whom YHWH wills the Son to reveal. Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light"

2 Thessalonians 1:5-10, “Clear evidence of the righteous judgment of יהוה, in order for you to be counted worthy of the reign of יהוה, for which you also suffer, since יהוה shall rightly repay with affliction those who afflict you, and to give you who are afflictedrest with us when the Master יהושע is revealed from heaven with His mighty messengers, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know יהוה, and on those who do not obey the Good News of our Master יהושע Messiah, who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Master and from the esteem of His strength, when He comes to be esteemed in His set-apart ones and to be admired among all those who believe in that Day, because our witness to you was believed.”

Revelation 14:13, "And I heard a voice from heaven saying to me: Write: Blessed are the dead, the ones dying in the Messiah from now on! Yes, says the Spirit: because they will rest from their labors, and their works do follow them!"

Revelation 21:4-8 And YHWH will wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there will be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, nor will there be any more pain, for the former things have passed away. And He Who sat upon the throne, said: Behold, I make all things new. And He said to me: Write, for these words are true and faithful.And He said to me: It is done! I am Aleph and Tau, the Beginning and the End. I will give to him who thirsts of the fountain of the water of life freely. He who overcomes will inherit all things; and I will be his Father, and he will be My son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and worshipers of false gods, and all liars, will have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone--which is the second death."
Matt.12:8. the son of man is Lord even of the sabbath, Col.2:14-16. the sabbath was nailed to the cross with Christ, he became our rest, without him we have no rest. God bless

I agree the Son of man/Adam is Master/Lord of the Sabbath, but this thread is about the specific term Day of YHWH/YHWH's Day - Day of the Lord/Lord's Day. So I don;t think that is talking about the same thing because the Day of YHWH in Scripture is talking about His wrath being poured out not the Sabbath. But I do Agree on this;

[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]Mat 12:8, "“For the Son of Aḏam is Master of the Sabbath.”[/FONT]

[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]Mark 2:28, “So the Son of Aḏam is also Master of the Sabbath.”[/FONT]

[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]Luke 6:5, “And He said to them, “The Son of Aḏam is Master of the Sabbath.”[/FONT]

It sounds bvery pleasing. Except for the fact none have entered that rest yet. Notice the word "when"

2 Thessalonians 1:5-10, “...since יהוה shall rightly repay with affliction those who afflict you, and to give you who are afflicted rest with us when the Master יהושע is revealed from heaven with His mighty messengers..."

This is still future;

Mat 24:29-31, "Immediately, but after the tribulation of those days will the sun be darkened, and the moon will not give her light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven; and then will all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His messengers with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of earth to the other."

Colossians 2 is commonly used as a witness against Yah’s Sabbaths, however, Yah’s Sabbath are 100% bout the Messiah and have origins from Yah, not the world or paganism...

Colossians 2:20, “If, then, you died with Messiah from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to it’s ordinances.”

Colossians 2:8, “See to it that no one makes a prey of you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary matters of the world, and not according to Messiah.”

Psalms 74:4, “Your adversaries have roared In the midst of Your appointments; They have set up their own signs as signs.”

Deuteronomy 12:29-32, “When YHWH your Father cuts off the nations from in front of you, and you displace them and live in their land, Be careful not to be ensnared into following them by asking about their gods (elohim), saying: How did these nations serve their gods? I also will do the same. You must not worship YHWH your Father in their way, for every abomination to YHWH, which He hates, they have done to their gods . They even burn their sons and daughters in the fire as sacrifices to their gods. Whatsoever I command you, be careful to observe and do it, you shall not add to it, nor take away from it.”

Colossians 2:16-23 is without a doubt a much debated and misunderstood passage, lets review it in context of the time frame, people who it was written about, the person who wrote it, the culture, the Law of the Most High and law of that time enforced by the religious leaders.

Colossians 2:16-23, "16 Let no one, then, judge you in eating or in drinking, or in respect of a feast, or of a new moon, or of sabbaths, 17 which are a shadow of the coming things, and the body [is] of the Christ; 18 let no one beguile you of your prize, delighting in humble-mindedness and [in] worship of the messengers, intruding into the things he hath not seen, being vainly puffed up by the mind of his flesh, 19 and not holding the head, from which all the body — through the joints and bands gathering supply, and being knit together — may increase with the increase of God. 20 If, then, ye did die with the Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances? 2 thou may not touch, nor taste, nor handle — 22 which are all for destruction with the using, after the commands and teachings of men, 23 which are, indeed, having a matter of wisdom in will-worship, and humble-mindedness, and neglecting of body — not in any honor, unto a satisfying of the flesh."

16 “Let no one, then, judge you in eating or in drinking, or in respect of a feast, or of a new moon, or of sabbaths,”

Mat 26:26-29, “And as they were eating, יהושע took bread, and having blessed, broke and gave it to the taught ones and said, “Take, eat, this is My body. And taking the cup, and giving thanks, He gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood, that of the renewed covenant, which is shed for many for the forgiveness of sins. But I say to you, I shall certainly not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on till that day when I drink it anew with you in the reign of My Father.”

For Doing or not doing? Or Both? If we look at this verse in the context of the time and culture it was written in we may have an idea. The Pharisees and Sadducees were of the ruling class religiously, socially and economically. After captive Israyl left Babylon the calendar was altered and so were the Feast Days of YHWH, so if an individual did not keep a Feast Day or Sabbath according to what the Pharisees said they could be killed. 23 vols of man made “law” were made, now called the Babylonian Talmud, this is not the Law of the Most High and is purely man made religion.

The prophet Zecharyah was killed over this very matter and Yahshua Himself mentioned the murder;

Matthew 23:34-35, “Because of this, see, I send you prophets, and wise men, and scholars of Scripture, Some of them you shall kill and impale, and some of them you shall flog in your congregations and persecute from city to city, so that on you should come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Heḇel to the blood of Zeḵaryah, son of Bereḵyah, whom you murdered between the Dwelling Place and the altar."

2 Chronicles 24:20-21, "Then the Spirit of the Most High came upon Zeḵaryah son of Yehoyaḏa the priest, who stood above the people, and said to them, “Thus said the Most High, ‘Why are you transgressing the commands of יהוה, and do not prosper? Because you have forsaken יהוה, He has forsaken you. And they conspired against him, and at the command of the sovereign they stoned him with stones in the courtyard of the House of יהוה."

The prophet Zecharyah (father of John the baptist) had a disagreement with the Pharisees about what day to keep the Day of Atonement, they commanded him to not honor it on the day YHWH said to but to rather honor the day they supplied, “the tradition of the elders”. Zecharyah chose to obey YHWH, and his body was killed because of it, and as we just read Yahshua scolded them on this matter.

And the Pharisess accused Yahshua and His disciples because they did not wash their hands before they ate:

Matthew 15:1-2, “Then there came to יהושע scribes and Pharisees from Yerushalayim, saying, Why do Your taught ones transgress the tradition of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat bread.”

Finally they accused Yahshua of breaking the Sabbath. He did not break the Sabbath according to YHWH, if He did He could not have been the sinless/spotless Passover Lamb, but He did break the Pharisees man made Sabbath “laws”

Matthew 12:1-8, "12:1, "At that time יהושע went through the grain fields on the Sabbath. And His taught ones were hungry, and began to pluck heads of grain, to eat."12:2, "And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to Him, “Look, Your taught ones are doing what is not right to do on the Sabbath!”"12:3, "But He said to them, “Have you not read what Dawiḏ did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him:"12:4, "how he went into the House of יהוה and ate the showbread which was not right for him to eat, nor for those who were with him, but only for the priests?"12:5, "“Or did you not read in the Torah that on the Sabbath the priests in the Set-apart Place profane the Sabbath, and are blameless?"12:6, "“But I say to you that in this place there is One greater than the Set-apart Place."12:7, "“And if you had known what this means, ‘I desire compassion and not offering,’ Hos 6:6 you would not have condemned the blameless."12:8, "“For the Son of Aḏam is Master of the Sabbath.”

They were blameless because they were doing the work and will of YHWH, that is the purpose of the Sabbath, the pharisees made it about sitting in your house twiddling your thumbs...

Mat 12:12, "And how much more valuable is a man than a sheep? Therefore, it is Lawful to do righteousness on the Sabbath."

Mark 3:4, “And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do right on the Sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace.”

Isayah 58:11-14, "YHWH will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and make fat; (strengthen), your bones. You will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail. And those of you will rebuild the old waste places; you will raise up the foundations of many generations; and you will be called the Repairer of the Breach, the Restorer of Streets to Dwell In; If you turn away your foot from breaking the Sabbath: from doing your pleasure; your own business, your own pleasure, on My holy day, and call the Sabbath a delight; the holy day of YHWH honorable, and will honor Him by not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor engaging in idle conversation: Then you will find your joy in YHWH; and I will cause you to ride on the high places of the earth, and feed you with the heritage of Yaaqob your father, for the mouth of YHWH has spoken it."

Matthew 12:9-14, "12:9, "And having left there, He went into their congregation."12:10, "And see, there was a man having a withered hand. And they asked Him, saying, “Is it right to heal on the Sabbath?” – so as to accuse Him."12:11, "And He said to them, “What man is there among you who has one sheep, and if it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, shall not take hold of it and lift it out?"12:12, "“How much more worth is a man than a sheep! So it is Lawful to do righteousness on the Sabbath.”"12:13, "Then He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And he stretched it out, and it was restored, as healthy as the other."12:14, "But the Pharisees went out and took counsel against Him, so as to destroy Him."

Mark 3:1-6, "3:1, "And He went into the congregation again, and a man who had a withered hand was there."3:2, "And they were watching Him, whether He would heal him on the Sabbath, so as to accuse Him."3:3, "And He said to the man who had the withered hand, “Get up to the middle.”"3:4, "And He said to them, “Is it right to do good on the Sabbath, or to do evil, to save life or to kill?” But they remained silent."3:5, "And having looked around on them with displeasure, being grieved at the hardness of their hearts, He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And he stretched it out, and his hand was restored as healthy as the other."3:6, "And the Pharisees went out and immediately plotted with the Herodians against Him, how to destroy Him."

Now back to Colossians 2:

16 “Let no one, then, judge you in eating or in drinking, or in respect of a feast, or of a new moon, or of sabbaths,”

17 “which are a shadow of the coming things, and the body [is] of the Christ;”

These are not things past but “Coming things”, and this translation is true the konie Greek. What coming things? The prophecies of YHWH or the “shadow”, is the 7 Feast Days and the weekly Sabbath are prophetic shadow pictures, the first 3 of the Messiah’s work as a Lamb, the last 4 of His return as a Lion, and the 7[SUP]th[/SUP] day Sabbath represents the true rest that is yet to come;

There are 2 "it is done" statements, not everything has been fulfilled and thus perfected;

Fulfilled already
John 19:30, “So when
יהושע took the sour wine He said, “It is done!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.”

Fulfilled already- To be fulfilled in the future

1. Passover/First-fruits – Yahshua's Sacrifice(Passover), burial and resurrection (First Fruits – presenting Himself to YHWH)
2. Feast of Unleavened Bread – Removal of sin by Yahshua's perfect work as the Passover Sacrifice
3. Feast of Weeks – The blessing Holy Spirit of YHWH, coming into our lives stronger than ever

4. Feast of Trumpets – Yahshua's return and gathering of the Saints
5. Day of Atonement – Yahshua leads the army of YHWH to destroy evil rulers of this world and satan is chained for 1,000 years
6. Feast of Tabernacles – Yahshua dwells on earth for 1,000 years teaching truth and righteousness
7. The Last Great Day – satan is loosed and swiftly destroyed, the Kingdom of YHWH reigns forever

To be fulfilled in the future
Revelation 21:4-8, “And Yah shall wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, nor mourning, nor crying. And there shall be no more pain, for the former matters have passed away. And He who was sitting on the throne said, “See, I make all matters new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and trustworthy. And He said to me, “It is done! I am the ‘Aleph’ and the ‘Taw’, the Beginning and the End. To the one who thirsts I shall give of the fountain of the water of life without payment. The one who overcomes shall inherit all this, and I shall be his Strength and he shall be My son. But as for the cowardly, and untrustworthy, and abominable, and murderers, and those who whore, and drug sorcerers, and idolaters, and all the false, their part is in the lake which burns with fire and sulphur, which is the second death.”

Matt.12:8. the son of man is Lord even of the sabbath, Col.2:14-16. the sabbath was nailed to the cross with Christ, he became our rest, without him we have no rest. God bless
Cont from post above;

2 Thessalonians 1:5-10, “Clear evidence of the righteous judgment of יהוה, in order for you to be counted worthy of the reign of יהוה, for which you also suffer, since יהוה shall rightly repay with affliction those who afflict you, and to give you who are afflicted rest with us when the Master יהושע is revealed from heaven with His mighty messengers, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know יהוה, and on those who do not obey the Good News of our Master יהושע Messiah, who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Master and from the esteem of His strength, when He comes to be esteemed in His set-apart ones and to be admired among all those who believe in that Day, because our witness to you was believed.”

2 Peter 3:8, “But, beloved ones, let not this one matter be hidden from you: that with יהוה one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”

Hosea 6:2, “After two days He shall revive us, on the third day He shall raise us up, so that we live before Him.”

Rev 20:4-6, "And I saw thrones – and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them – and the lives of those who had been beheaded because of the witness they bore to יהושע and because of the Word of Ylohim, and who did not worship the beast, nor his image, and did not receive his mark upon their foreheads or upon their hands. And they lived and reigned with Messiah for a thousand years and the rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended) – this is the first resurrection. Blessed and set-apart is the one having part in the first resurrection. The second death possesses no authority over these, but they shall be priests of YHWH and of Messiah, and shall reign with Him a thousand years."

18 “let no one beguile you of your prize, delighting in humble-mindedness and [in] worship of the messengers, intruding into the things he hath not seen, being vainly puffed up by the mind of his flesh,”

Are prophecies about the Messiah things of the flesh? Or worship of messengers (angels/demons)? Are the Feast days and Sabbath vain (empty) or are they 100% about the works of Yahshua the Messiah as told and prophesied by YHWH?

I want to focus on 20-23, as to see context. Shaul/Paul, in nearly all his thoughts talks about a topic and then goes on to explain, he uses an advanced style of writing as his (worldly) education was beyond that of the other NT writers.

20 If, then, ye did die with the Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances?

So he is saying if your dead to the world why would you subject yourself to its (the worlds) ordinances. To think he is saying if your dead to the world then why would you subject yourself to Feast Days of YHWH would make no sense, for the 7[SUP]th[/SUP] day Sabbath and the Feast Days of YHWH are not worldly, they are from YHWH, and they are 100% focused on the works of Messiah as the suffering Lamb and His return as the conquering Lion. In our modern times things like Halloween, Christmas and Easter would be worldly, as they have no origin in Yah and are not Yah focused at all, but but they are vain (empty). Halloween is pure darkness, Easter is supposedly about the Resurrection but if we examine the Scriptures we see Yahshua did not rise on Sunday, but before sundown on the Sabbath (7[SUP]th[/SUP] day), and what do eggs and bunnies have to do with Messiah? Absolutely nothing. Christmas is is the same, what does a “Christmas tree” have to do with Yahshua or His Sacrifice? This pagan practice is condemned in Jeremiah 10:1-6;

Jeremiah 10:1-6, "Hear the word which YHWH speaks concerning you, O house of Israyl. This is what YHWH says: Do not learn the way of the heathen and do not be deceived by the signs of heaven; though the heathen are deceived by them For the religious customs of the peoples are vain; worthless! For one cuts a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the ax. They decorate it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, so that it will not move; topple over. They are upright, like a palm tree, but they cannot speak; they must be carried, because they cannot go by themselves. Do not give them reverence! They cannot do evil, nor is it in them to do righteousness!"

If that were not enough, this pagan practice has only been in American tradition since 1933, introduced by Freemasons and was a pagan practice of Egypt and Babylon from ancient times. If that were not enough Yahshua was not Sacrificed anytime around December 25[SUP]th[/SUP], but around the beginning of April or more accurately on the 14[SUP]th[/SUP] of Abib (the 14[SUP]th[/SUP] of the 1[SUP]st[/SUP] month of the Creator’s calendar) How do we know this? Because Yahshua was Sacrificed on Passover;

1 Corinthians 5:7-8, "Therefore cleanse out the old leaven, so that you are a new lump, as you are unleavened. For also Messiah our Passover was offered for us. So then let us observe the festival, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of evil and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth."

John 19:13-17, “Therefore, when Pilate heard these words, he brought יהושע out and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called Pavement, but in Hebrew, Gabbatha. And it was the Preparation Day of the Passover week, and about the sixth hour. And he said to the Yehuḏim, “See your Sovereign! But they shouted, “Away, away, impale Him!” Pilate said to them, “Shall I impale your Sovereign?” The chief priests answered, “We have no sovereign except Caesar! At that time, then, he delivered Him to them to be impaled. And they took יהושע and led Him away. And bearing His stake, He went out to the so-called Place of a Skull, which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha,"

But Paul explains it further.

21 thou may not touch, nor taste, nor handle

The pharisees had a law (a man made Talmudic law) in which you could not eat meat and cheese together, or even within 4 hours of each other. Now this is not in YHWH's Law. The origin, from which they made their own law does however come from YHWH's Law; as it says “don't boil a baby goat in its mothers milk” (3 times) (the local pagans had this as a religious practice YHWH did not want His people to partake in these evil pagan practices) the pharisees using something called "midrashic interpretation" the pharisees looked at it and said well since it says this three times it must meant three different things. SO THEY MADE UP THEIR OWN LAW, that was completely disconnected from Scripture, is not a part of Scripture and enforced it as Law. So Paul’s context, customs and understanding is much different from our modern day perspective, in which he grew up knowing Scripture and knowing the customs of the time, 2,000 years later people seem to have no clue.

Mat 15:4-9, “For YHWH has commanded, saying, ‘Respect your father and your mother,’ ‘He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.’ But you say, ‘Whoever says to his father or mother, “Whatever profit you might have received from me has been dedicated, is certainly released from respecting his father or mother.’ So you have nullified the command of YHWH by your tradition."Hypocrites! Well did Isayah (29:13-14)* prophesy of you, saying: These people draw near to Me with their mouth and honor Me with their lips, but have removed their hearts far from Me. But in vain they do worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.”

22 which are all for destruction with the using, after the commands and teachings of men,

So here very clearly he states "after the commandments of men", now if you read from 16-20 you see he stays on topic, and 20 says basically if your dead to the world why do what the world tells you to do? So we can see he is still on this topic from v16. In this verse 22, he says "which are all for destruction", how does Sabbath lead to destruction and it would also have to be a "commandment of men" if there is any commandment that is the farthest thing possible from being a "commandment of men" it is the Sabbath, it was from creation and it shows the AUTHORITY of the Creator, the mark of the Creator, as He rested on the 7[SUP]th[/SUP] day of creation. Also tying a "commandment of men" to destruction Romans 8:13, "For if you live according to the commandments of men, you will die; but if, through the Spirit, you put to death; put an end to, the evildoing of mankind, you will live."

23 which are, indeed, having a matter of wisdom in will-worship, and humble-mindedness, and neglecting of body — not in any honor, unto a satisfying of the flesh.

The act of pleasing the pharisees by following their Talmud/heir man made laws, would be “after the commandments and teachings of men v22” and “a satisfying of the flesh v23.”

For the pharisees would have a problem if you did things according to YHWH's instruction and not their Talmud/man made law, called the “ORAL LAW”, and this is shown in the Scriptures: MATT 15, 23, mark 7:7-9, etc If you kept the Sabbath NOT according to the Talmud but according to the Scriptures the Pharisees would have a problem.

Matt 12:10 & 12, "And, behold, there was a man who had a withered hand. Then they asked Him, saying; Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath Days?--so that they might accuse Him."And how much more valuable is a man than a sheep? Therefore, it is Lawful to do righteousness on the Sabbath."

The "Rabbis" also made their own holidays, Haunnaka and Rosh Hashanna and more. when they left Babylon they even changed the names of the moons (months), and Rosh hashanna even changes the time of the new year from the 1[SUP]st[/SUP] month to the 7[SUP]th[/SUP] month, this is clearly a “commandments and ordinances of men”. The calendar YHWH created is YHWH's calendar, the one who created it created the heavens and the earth, thus it is calculated by the heavens, the moon in this case. Our current calendar is the Gregorian calendar, which is an updated version of the Babylonian calendar. YHWH said the days end and begin at sunset, not the "Rabbis/Pharisees/Etc." Since the Pharisees/"Rabbis" made up their own, times/ways to keep their own made up "feast days", if you did not submit to the Pharisees they would seek to have you brought to trial, beat, imprisoned, or even killed you for not honoring their non-Scriptural days based in man’s tradition. The Talmud tells a story of Zacharyah, father of John the baptist, and OT prophet, disagreeing and wanting to follow YHWH Feast Days according to the Scriptures, and the head Pharisees told him, on threat of death, to appear in public on a Scriptural Feast Day in a way that the man can not honor YHWH as prescribed in the Scriptures, thus commanding him to disobey YHWH. They killed him for seeking to honor YHWH, His way and not their man made religious tradition. Yahshua spoke of this, but many have no clue of the history behind it;

Mat 23:35, "so that on you should come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Heḇel to the blood of Zeḵaryah, son of Bereḵyah, whom you murdered between the Dwelling Place and the altar."

Rosh Hashanah (New Year)
Rosh Hashanah occurs on the first and second days of Tishri (the 7th moon or month, YHWH's year starts in the 1st month). In Hebrew, Rosh Hashanah means, literally, "head of the year" or "first of the year." Rosh Hashanah is commonly known as the Jewish New Year.

How does the year start in the 7th month? According to the Scriptures and YHWH's calendar the year starts in the 1st month, Abib. An falls around the end of March/the beginning of April.

Chanukkah
On the 25th of Kislev are the days of Chanukkah, which are eight... these were appointed a Festival with Hallel [prayers of praise] and thanksgiving. -Shabbat 21b, Babylonian Talmud

Tu B'Shevat
There are four new years... the first of Shevat is the new year for trees according to the ruling of Beit Shammai; Beit Hillel, however, places it on the fifteenth of that month. -Mishnah Rosh Hashanah 1:1

Purim
Is one of the most joyous and fun holidays on the Jewish calendar. It commemorates a time when the Jewish people living in Persia were saved from extermination.

Tisha B'Av
Five misfortunes befell our fathers... on the ninth of Av....On the ninth of Av it was decreed that our fathers should not enter the [Promised] Land, the Temple was destroyed the first and second time, Bethar was captured and the city [Jerusalem] was ploughed up. -Mishnah Ta'anit 4:6

Feasts that YHWH says should be kept for all generations are promoted and kept by the disciples and Paul in the NT:

Acts 24:14, "But I confess this to you, that after the way which they call heresy--so I worship the Father of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the Law and in the Prophets."

Acts 18:21, “But bade them farewell, saying, I must by all means keep this Feast that cometh in Jerusalem: but I will return again unto you, if Yah will. And he sailed from Ephesus.”

Acts 27:9, “Much time had been lost, and sailing had already become dangerous because by now it was after the Day of Atonement. So Paul warned them.”

Day of Atonement” is word #G3521 in Strong's Concordance – nésteia, nésteia: fasting, a fast, Original Word: νηστεία, ας, ἡ, Part of Speech: Noun, Feminine, Transliteration: nésteia, Phonetic Spelling: (nace-ti'-ah), Short Definition: fasting, the day of atonement, Definition: fasting, the day of atonement.

Acts 20:16, “Paul had decided to sail past Ephesus to avoid spending time in the province of Asia, for he was in a hurry to reach Jerusalem, if possible, by the day of Pentecost.”

So if Colossians 2 means not Feats/Sabbath then Paul is a hypocrite because he kept them, I think Paul is talking about things not according to Messiah;

[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]Colossians 2:8, “See to it that no one makes a prey of you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary matters of the world, and not according to Messiah.”

The 7th day Sabbath and all the Feast days are 100% about Messiah's work as the suffering Lamb and the conquering Lion.

Christ's resurrection made Him both Lord and Christ, and that occurred on the Lord's Day, not on the sabbath (which was God's day of rest also).[/LEFT]
Where in Scripture is;

the MORROW AFTER THE SABBATH is called the Lord's Day[/LEFT]

There is no Bible verse that says this. If Jesus changed the day He needed to do it before He died because a Will is final when someone dies.
If it was important to tell us, that the day He rise is now the new Sabbath, He would have said something. But just because He rose on Sunday does not mean the Holy Sabbath day was changed.

Gen 2:2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
Gen 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

This was before there was a Jew or before there was sin and God made it very plan that it was the seventh day.

To say that Sunday is now the blessed and sanctified day with no evidence is simply wrong. It is just a presumption to think that the day He rose changed everything because there is no evidence, it is presumption.

The study i have done tells me it all happened in accordance with the Passover. Nisan 14,15,16. type and anti-type perfectly matched.
Nisan 14 at 3pm the time the Lamb was to be killed was the time Jesus died Friday at 3pm.
Nisan 15 was a high Sabbath because both the weekly and the ceremonial Sabbath came at the same time. Jesus rested in the tomb.
Nisan 16 was the day of first fruits, (which can happen any day depending on when Nisan 16 falls),. Jesus rose sometime between the end of the Sabbath and Sunday morning.

· Passover - 14 Nisan, is the type of the crucifixion day and occurs before a seventh day Sabbath.
· The day following the crucifixion is not only a seventh day Sabbath, but also the beginning of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, 15 Nisan, making that Sabbath a "high" double Sabbath.
· 16 Nisan, the day of Firstfruits, a clear type of the resurrection day, occurs after a sabbath day, but is not itself a Sabbath day!

CONCLUSION
The only chronology that can be reconciled with scripture on all points is the Friday crucifixion and Sunday resurrection. It is the only scenario in which the typical festival days and their fulfillment match exactly, without a single discrepancy!

John 13:1, “And before the Festival of the Passover, יהושע knowing that His hour had come that He should move out of this world unto the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end.” TS 2009

John 19:31, “Therefore, since it was the Preparation Day, that the bodies should not remain on the stake on the Sabbath – for that Sabbath was a high one – the Yehuḏim asked Pilate to have their legs broken, and that they be taken away.” TS 2009

Mark 15:42, "And now evening having come, seeing it was the preparation, that is, the fore-sabbath," YLT

Most people read this and say, “well Sabbath is Saturday, so this had to be Friday.” But notice the scriptures say “High Holy Day Sabbath” or “for that Sabbath was a high day

What is a “High Holy Day Sabbath” or “for that Sabbath was a high day”?

Leviticus 23:24 & 32, “Speak to the children of Israyl, saying; In the Seventh Moon (or month), on the First (day) of the Moon, you shall have a Sabbath, a Memorial of Blowing of Trumpets; The Feast of Trumpets, a Holy Convocation.” 32, “It is to you a Sabbath of rest, and you shall afflict yourselves. On the Ninth (day) of the Moon at evening; at the setting of the sun, through the Tenth of the Moon at evening; at the setting of the sun, from evening until evening, you shall celebrate your Sabbath.”

These are the “High Holy Day Sabbath(s)” or “for that Sabbath was a high day(s)”, unlike weekly Sabbaths these Days can fall on any day of the week, where the weekly Sabbath is on the 7th day only. So the day Yahshua got sacrificed was the day before a Sabbath Day, and Scripture clearly shows us it was a High Sabbath and because High Sabbaths can fall on any day, this shows us that it did not have to be a Friday when Yahshua was Sacrificed. We don’t know the day of the week but we do know it was “”

However this in itself does not tell us what day it is or is not. So we must continue.

John 19:14, "And it was the Preparation Day of the Pĕsaḥ week, and about the sixth hour. And he said to the Yehuḏim, “See your Sovereign!” TS 2009

John 19:14, “And it was the preparation of the passover, and as it were the sixth hour, and he saith to the Jews, 'Lo, your king!‘ YLT

John 19:14, “And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King!” KJV

John 19:14, “It was the day of Preparation of Passover Week, about the sixth hour. "Here is your king," Pilate said to the Jews.”
NIV

John 19:14, “Now it was the day of Preparation for the Passover, and it was about the sixth hour (about twelve o'clock noon). He said to the Jews, See, [here is] your King!” AMP

John 19:14-18, “And it was the Preparation Day of the Pĕsaḥ week, and about the sixth hour. And bearing His stake, He went out to the so-called Place of a Skull, which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha, where they impaled Him, and two others with Him, one on this side and one on that side, and יהושע in the middle.” TS 2009

John 19:14-18, “Now it was the day of Preparation of the Passover. It was about the sixth hour. He said to the Jews, “Behold your King! They cried out, “Away with him, away with him, crucify him!” Pilate said to them, “Shall I crucify your King?” The chief priests answered, “We have no king but Caesar. So he delivered him over to them to be crucified. So they took Jesus, and he went out, bearing his own cross, to the place called The Place of a Skull, which in Aramaic is called Golgotha. There they crucified him, and with him two others, one on either side, and Jesus between them.” ESV

John 13:1, “Andbefore the Festival of the Passover, יהושע knowing that His hour had come that He should move out of this world unto the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end.” TS 2009

John 13:1, “Now before the Feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that his hour had come to depart out of this world to the Father, having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end.” ESV

So according to Scripture Yahshua was sacrificed the day before Passover and that “Preparation Day” is the day the Passover Lamb (aka Yahshua) was to be killed;

Leviticus 23:5, “On the Fourteenth of the First Moon, between the two evenings, YHWH's Passover Sacrifice is to be killed.”

That day is the 14th of the first moon or first month, and that is according to YHWH’s calendar not the world’s calendar. The 14th of the first moon or month falls on a different day of the week each year. It is based on the sighting of the new moon so there is no way to make a calendar before, one must wait until the sighting of the new moon.

Mat 27:46-50, “And about the ninth hour (3pm)יהושע cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Yli, Yli, lemah sheḇaqtani?” that is, “My Strength, My Strength, why have You forsaken Me? Some of those standing there, having heard, said, “This One calls Yliyahu! And immediately one of them ran and took a sponge, and filled it with sour wine and put it on a reed, and gave it to Him to drink. But the rest said, “Leave it, let us see if Ĕliyahu comes to save Him. And יהושע cried out again with a loud voice, and gave up His spirit.”

Mark 15:34, “And at the ninth hour (3pm) יהושע cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Yli, Yli, lamah sheḇaqtani?” which is translated, “My Strength, My Strength, why have You forsaken Me?”

Luke 23:44-46, “And it was now about the sixth hour (12noon), and darkness came over all the land, until the ninth hour (3pm). And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the Dwelling Place was torn in two. And crying out with a loud voice, יהושע said, “Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit.” And having said this, He breathed His last.”

Mattithyah12:40, “For as Yahnah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.”

John 19:14-15, “And it was the Preparation Day of the Passover week, and about the sixth hour. And he said to the Yehuḏim, “See your Sovereign! But they shouted, “Away, away, impale Him!” Pilate said to them, “Shall I impale your Sovereign?” The chief priests answered, “We have no sovereign except Caesar!”

John 19:31, “Therefore, since it was the Preparation Day, that the bodies should not remain on the stake on the Sabbath – for that Sabbath was a high one – the Yehuḏim asked Pilate to have their legs broken, and that they be taken away.”

Luke 23:52-54, "he, going to Pilate, asked for the body of יהושע. Then he took it down, wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a tomb that was hewn out of the rock, where no one had ever lain before. That day was the Preparation, and the Sabbath drew near."

So by this time Yahshua has been Sacrificed, His body wrapped and taken to the tomb, yet it is still not yet sundown, but “That day was the Preparation, and the Sabbath drew near” and remember it is not the 7[SUP]th[/SUP] day weekly Sabbath;

John 19:31, “Therefore, since it was the Preparation Day, that the bodies should not remain on the stake on the Sabbath – for that Sabbath was a high one...”

John 19:42, “There, then, because of the Preparation Day of the Yehuḏim, they laid יהושע, because the tomb was near.”

Mat 27:59-66, “And having taken the body, Yosĕph wrapped it in clean linen, and laid it in his new tomb which he had hewn out of the rock. And he rolled a large stone against the door of the tomb, and went away. And Miryam from Maḡdala was there, and the other Miryam, sitting opposite the tomb. On the next day, which was after the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees gathered together to Pilate, saying, “Master, we remember, while He was still alive, how that deceiver said, ‘After three days I am raised. Command, then, that the tomb be safeguarded until the third day, lest His taught ones come by night and steal Him away, and should say to the people, ‘He was raised from the dead.’ And the last deception shall be worse than the first. So Pilate said to them, “You have a watch, go, safeguard it as you know how. And they went and safeguarded the tomb, sealing the stone and setting the watch.”

So it is the day after the Preparation (High Sabbath) and the chief priests and Pharisees asked Pilate, saying, “Master, we remember, while He was still alive, how that deceiver said, ‘After three days I am raised. Command, then, that the tomb be safeguarded until the third day.”

Mark 16:1, "And when the Sabbath was past, Miryam from Maḡdala, and Miryam the mother of Ya‛aqoḇ, and Shelomah bought spices, to go and anoint Him."

Luke 23:56, “And having returned, they prepared spices and perfumes. And they rested on the Sabbath according to the command.”

The women prepare “spices and perfumes” and “rested on the Sabbath according to the command”

Mark 16:1-2, “And when the Sabbath was past, Miryam from Maḡdala, and Miryam the mother of Ya‛aqoḇ, and Shelomah bought spices, to go and anoint Him. And very early on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen.”

Here we see the women going to His tomb after the Sabbath day, this is the weekly 7[SUP]th[/SUP] day Sabbath, as there is no distinction that it is a High Sabbath and it also say they arrived “very early on the first day of the week” (Sunday).

Mat 12:40, “For as Yahnah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.”

Luke 24:1, “And on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they came to the tomb, bringing the spices which they had prepared.”

John 20:1, “And on the first day of the week Miryam from Maḡdala came early to the tomb, while it was still dark, and saw that the stone had been removed from the tomb.”

So remember the Creator’s days do not start and end at 12 midnight, but sundown, so the weekly Sabbath (Friday sundown to Saturday sundown) was over they arrived “on the first day of the week” “while it was still dark, and saw that the stone had been removed from the tomb” So when the sun goes down on the 7[SUP]th[/SUP] day they go to sleep, wake up early and go to the tomb to find that Yahshua is already gone. So if He was put in the tomb before sundown on the Preparation Day. Was in the tomb three days and three nights, as He said was the only true sign of the Messiah. The women show up on the 1[SUP]st[/SUP] day of the week before sunrise and He is already gone. We have to calculate three days and three nights, sundown to sundown from the time He was Sacrificed and the put in the tomb; before sundown on the Preparation Day.

Luke 23:53, “And taking it down, he wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a tomb hewn out of the rock, where no one was yet laid. And it was Preparation day, and the Sabbath was approaching.”

The day after the Preparation day, the day that the Passover Sacrifice (Yahshua) is to be killed, is the first day of “the Festival of Unleavened Bread” and this is a rest day; “On the first day you have a set-apart gathering, you do no servile work

Leviticus 23:5-7, “On the Fourteenth of the First Moon, between the two evenings, YHWH's Passover Sacrifice is to be killed. And on the fifteenth day of this new moon is the Festival of Unleavened Bread to יהוה – seven days you eat unleavened bread. On the first day you have a set-apart gathering, you do no servile work.”

When we consider all the Scriptural facts, I know it is a lot, but when we include all of the proof. Including His statement of 3 days and 3 nights, the Creator’s way, not measured by rabbinic or pharisee calculation; We have Yahshua Sacrificed on the Preparation Day and placed in the tomb before sundown, a rest day on the first Day of Unleavened Bread (1st full day sundown to sundown), the second full day (2nd full day sundown to sundown), then the 7[SUP]th[/SUP] day weekly Sabbath (3rd full day sundown to sundown). We are only left with one possibility;
