You must demonstrate where God, Himself, says the Sabbath of the Lord, His Sabbath, is changed.

This no man is able to do because He never changed it.

If some people met on the first day of the week to worship, well, this is no small wonder, people meet every day to worsip.....and if yo believe in truth, you worsip every day......though not a formalized meeting of the assembly.

There are many sabbaths delineated in the Word, but there is only One Sabbath of the Lord designated by Him.

Do not try to change days and times, this is not of God.

Christians still have a day of rest as ordained by God, we do not however have to obey the Mosaic Sabbath and all that entails, for in the fri sundown to sat sundown Sabbath was to be observed by those under the Old Covenant as a remembrance of being delivered out of Egypt, out of Slavery.

Christians rest and worship on Sunday, the resurrection day. For many reasons, but the first is to remember what Christ Did for us, second, is to rest in Worship (some can't due to work/illness but thats ok, they can rest on any day) and third, to anticipate together and look forward to the fulness of time when we enter the eternal Sabbath rest we are Already in the rest but not yet.
There are now no commands to set aside any day as more Holy than any other, but christians as with the first christians came together on Sunday, we see this in Scripture and by early christian witness.

So all Christians can enjoy the creational ordinance of a days rest, and on any day. Sunday or the day Christ rose from the dead is the start of the New Creation that Christians are now in and await its consummation.

We now worship together with Jesus as our mediator, not Moses or Priests as the Old Covenant prescribed. Observing and saying that not observing the Sabbath as in the Mosaic covenant is sin, is total nonsense, and secondly it is a dangerous teaching. Because it takes away from the mediatorial role of Christ. It also puts one back under slavery.

All you say seems to point to me as being a Jew (praiser of Yah, God) with Jesus Christ as my King. Nice.......thank you.

This is the post of a very desperate individual.

Have I not already posted what Paul teaches on observing one day over another? Yet you come with your insults. We know a tree by its fruits.

Hi Jaumj,

That was not an insult. I was in agreement with you. Observing the old covenant Sabbath has no bearing for the christian. And then I also stated that Christian Jews are speaking out more and more against Sabbatarians.

Nothing insulting in my post at all!

Plus

You think to highly of yourself if you think my whole post spoke of you!

Isaiah 56:1-7, “Thus said יהוה, “Guard right-ruling, and do righteousness, for near is My deliverance to come, and My righteousness to be revealed. Blessed is the man who does this, and the son of man who becomes strong in it, guarding the Sabbath lest he profane it, and guarding his hand from doing any evil. And let not the son of the gentile who has joined himself to יהוה speak, saying, ‘יהוה has certainly separated me from His people,’ nor let the eunuch say, ‘Look I am a dry tree.’ For thus said יהוה, “To the eunuchs who guard My Sabbaths, and have chosen what pleases Me, and are holding onto My covenant: to them I shall give in My house and within My walls a place and a name better than that of sons and daughters – I give them an everlasting name that is not cut off. Alsothe sons of the gentile who join themselves to יהוה, to serve Him, and to love the Name of יהוה, to be His servants, all who guard the Sabbath, and not profane it, and are holding onto My covenant, them I shall bring to My set-apart mountain, and let them rejoice in My house of prayer. Their ascending offerings and their sacrifices are accepted on My altar, for My house is called a house of prayer for all the peoples.”

It seems that even Jewish Christians are fed up with Hebrew roots nonsense. It gives Jewish believers a bad name.

Each indivigual is a person, and just because someone is a jewish christian does not make them more or less knowledgable in truth or more or less an "authority" in truth.

It is certain you will find many who say much, but God only says one thing, His Word.

You said I think highly of myself, but from the manner in which you speak and accuse, it appears you are the judge, prosecutor and jury.....

I do think highly, highly of God's Holy Spirit for teaching truth and understaanding where I am taught,. Yes, it is certain you believe many here think highly of themselves, but you are confusing the Spirit with flesh...

Some folks come in thinking by their own flesh they are hard-hitting, but up against the Holy Spirit they are just plain silly.

wonder what these verses mean? Can anyone who thinks the 7th day Sabbath is obsolete in any way please explain them to me;

Mat 5:18, "I say to you; Unless heaven and earth passes away, one yodh; the smallest of the letters will in no way pass from the Law, until all things are perfected."

Revelation 21:1, "I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away."

Daniyl 7:25, "And he will speak great words against YHWH, and will wear out; mentally attack to cause to fall away, the saints of YHWH, and think to change times and Laws…"

I would say that I could show you just 'one' who can show the nonsense that you do is wrong..

Like Yahshua.. there is no such name in any scripture as Yahshua.. You show the uttermost disrespect to change scripture and to ascribe a different name to GOD.

Anyhow, If Jesus is your mediator, you will not put yourself back under bondage an example would be keeping the Mosaic Sabbath.

So my question to you is why do you use a false name for God?

What you call bondage I call a delight, what I call bondage is sin. How is do not steal, honor your father and mother, have none before YHWH bondage my Phil? These are right things. Same as the Sabbath, a day set aside 100% to focus on Him, no distractions, none of my own work, Im not perfect but the intent to do His will remains. Why it stirs up such disdain from you is odd to me.

Do you understand there is no letter "e" or letter "a" in written Hebrew? thre are no vowels in the written language until 600 years after Yahshua was in the flesh.

The name was something like YhowShuw`a up until around the 2nd temple period (600BC) where the pharisees then forbade the name of YHWH to be used, at that point Yeshuwa was used. So do you think the holy Spirit of YHWH followed the rabbinical/pharisee ban on using the name of YHWH and said to name the Messiah Yeshua, removing the YH or YaH? or do you think the holy Spirit of YHWH used the original form with YH YaH at the beginning?

Yah = YHWH

Shua = Salvation

Ye = He

Shua = Salvation

Also do you think Yahshua followed the rabbinical ban and said Blessed is He Who comes in the Name of adonai? or Blessed is He Who comes in the Name of YHWH?

Mattithyah 23:39, "For I say to you: From this moment you will not see Me, until you say: Blessed is He Who comes in the Name of YHWH!"

Psalms 118:26, "Blessed is He who is coming in the Name of יהוה! We shall bless you from the House of יהוה. "

YhwShuw/Yahshua

“Jesus” is word #G2424 Ἰησοῦς Iesous (yee-sous') n/p., 1. (meaning) He is Salvation, Yahweh saves (i.e. the Savior)., 2. (person) Jesus (i.e. Yeshua, Yehoshua), the name of our Lord, also called the Last Adam., 3. (person) Joshua (i.e. Yehoshua) an Israelite, the servant and successor of Moses., 4. (person) Jeshua, also called Justus, an Israelite, a coworker with Paul., 5. (NOTE) (“Jesus” is a valid English transliteration, coming from Ancient Hebrew to Koine Greek (via the Septuagint) to Latin to Old English to Modern English. It is completely acceptable to God (Yahweh) for us call upon the Savior's name as “Jesus,” or “Iesous,” or “Yeshua,” or even “Yesu” as in Christian Arabic or in the Fijian Islands, et al. God prepared for all nations to be able to trust in the Savior and to call upon his name by preparing a language dialect for international use: the Hebraic-Koine Greek. Thus, technically and formally, the pronunciation “Iesous” was intentionally established by the Savior as the common basis for Jewish and Gentile acknowledgment of his Redemption and Salvation, going forth as needed into every tribe, native tongue, people, and nation. “Yeshua” is of course delightfully acceptable to him, when it is not used as an exclusionary name. Love edifies)., 6. (NOTE) (Revelation 3:12)., [of Hebrew origin (H3442 as the shortened form of H3091)], KJV: Jesus, Root(s): H3442, See also: H3091

Root word of “Jesus” is word #H3442 יֵשׁוַּע Yeshuwa` (yay-shoo'-ah) n/l., 1. he will save., 2. Jeshua, the name of ten Israelites, also of a place in Israel., [for H3091], KJV: Jeshua. , Root(s): H3091

Root word of “Jesus” is word #H3091 יְהוֹשׁוּעַ YhowShuw`a (yeh-ho-shoo'-ah) n/p., יְהוֹשֻׁעַ YhowShu`a (yeh-ho-shoo'-ah), 1. Yahweh-saved.2. Jehoshua (i.e. Joshua), the Jewish leader., [from H3068 and H3467], KJV: Jehoshua, Jehoshuah, Joshua., Root(s): H3068, H3467, Compare: H1954, H3442

Yashua, Yahoshua, Yeshua and more are various accents saying the name of our Savior with Yahhoshua or Joshua being the earlier version of Hi name.

It is yod hay shin vav hay I believe, and it may be translated as the Salvation of Yahweh orSalvation is Yahweh.

Just as Yeshi means redeemer Yahu is another form of Yahweh uised in naming varied personalities of the ot. Yeshiyahu is one transliteration of Isaiah.....

When you read al of these in Hebrew, have translated them all from the HEBREW, then fault others on their knowledge when they ue it to clarify what they are saying.

Until you are able to see clearly, I am afraid you will always think the educated and studied inthe Word are ignorant.

Knowing Hebrew is not important to salvation, but decrying those who do understand when you do not is just stupid.

Hi Jaumj,

It just goes to show that People will say anything, you have put yourself now in the same bracket as Hizikyah, unbelievable. LOl, lets have a look at what Jewish Christians have to say:

The International Alliance Of Messianic Congregations And Synagogues (Iamcs)

Sacred-namers suggest that people who use the “true name” are part of the true Apostolic congregation, in fact, a continuation of the tradition of the first century congregation. Their mission, therefore, was to restore the body to its true roots, as it once was in the day of the Apostles, as if the mystery of the Holy Spirit, and the power in which the Apostles ministered the gospel, was connected to their knowledge and use of the true Hebrew “sacred name.” Sacred-namers insist not only upon use of the name “Yahweh,” but they further insist that one must also use the Messiah’s correct Hebrew name, which according to them is Yahshua (יהשע). This is another error. It was obviously created to try and conform to a theology, that “YAHshua” is the son of “YAHweh.” However, the name “Yahshua” (יהשע) makes no sense linguistically in Hebrew. Nor is such a name anywhere to be found in the Old Testament. ! Hebrew version New Testaments, created for the purpose of reaching Hebrew-speaking Jews with the gospel, typically use the name “Yeshua” (ישוע).

Thousands of Hebrew Speaking Messianic Jews are living today in Israel who pray in the name of Yeshua (not Yahshua). Before them, Hebrew-speaking missionaries and Jewish Christians living in the land used the name “Yeshua,” as it is written in Hebrew New Testaments. ! Of course, there are no known original books of the New Testament written in Hebrew. All Hebrew versions of the New Testament are translated from the Greek. However, the correct Hebrew translation of the Greek “Iesus” is not a mystery. It is well-established by Jewish and Christian scholars, historians, and linguists that the correct Hebrew name of the Messiah was “Yeshua” (ישוע), which means “Salvation” or “He saves.” If you read a Hebrew New Testament, the name of the Lord as written therein is Yeshua (ישוע).

Simply put, “Yahshua” is a fabrication popularized in the 20th century by the Sacred-namers. ! 12 Unfortunately, a number of Hebrew roots adherents to this day still use the name “Yahshua,” with insistence that it is the correct Hebrew name of Jesus. It is another example of a false theology being popularized through the use of mass media in the modern era of communications. The Sacred-name errors were widely published not only by Dodd’s magazine The Faith, but also in a host of different Sacred Name version Bibles that have been in circulation since the 1950’s. ! The error of the Sacred-namers was not simply a linguistic one. The bigger error of the Sacred Name movement, and its successors who follow their traditions today, is in its legalistic insistence that using a little Hebrew is somehow going to improve a person’s relationship with God. Using Hebrew is not indicative of a person’s chosen-ness, nor does it increase righteousness, holiness, or intimacy with God. The fact that they use incorrect Hebrew only serves to highlight the error, and exposes the inaccurate nature of the Sacred Name movement. !

What I find AMAZING is those who like to quote themselves or anything else over the Word of God because they cannot share the Word of God for what they believe. Truly Amazing. UNBELIEVERS Have no part in the Kingdom of Heaven. Only in God's Word is the truth and the truth can make you free to LOVE as he first LOVED us.
